Hi Lamewolf -I'm starting the Wiifit today as well - got to shift 3stone!! My age came up as 5 years older than I really am which I was quite impressed with!!
Think its the steroids and other drugs behind the weight gain - and working in an office instead of cleaning. I'm a size 14 -always been a trim size 10. In fact I was never even this big when pregnant - I hate it!
Have a good day everyone

This usually occurrs some time around the "I've got a girlfriend coming round" stage of development and is linked to the "I'm going to have a shower and wash my hair without being told" effect.
The biggest problem is that once through all these stages, you get to the "I'm going to drink too much beer and chunder all over the living room carpet" scenario. Thankfully, this only ever happens once as it triggers the "If you ever do something that stupid again, you're out on your ear" gene in parents.
Why did they never teach us this in Biology at school?
:rotfl: Lmao!
Eldest has discovered the having a bath and washing the hair without being told gene although hasn't quite got the hang of the picking up the pants and socks bit yet!
Like the last one too...hopefully, he will be off at Uni when he decides to do that!We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.0 -

Some good news at last. I applied for DLA last November and had a letter today saying they are awarding me low rate mobility and middle rate care.
I expected to be turned down and have to appeal but the evidence they collected was enough.:T
I am so relieved. Do I need to inform anyone at all, I don't get any other benefits other than family allowance and child tax credit.Sealed Pot Challenge Member NO. 853 :j0 -
Great news sandy71. As far as I know, DLA is "ringfenced" so cannot be taken into account for any other benefits. Others on here should be able to confirm. In the beginning, the universe was created. This made a lot of people very angry and was widely regarded as a bad move. The late, great, Douglas Adams.0

Thanks seaside please give her a hug from me too
Well, I've just had the weekend from hell and I'm suffering for it but I thought I'd share cos it was so funny
As some of you may remember my DD is getting married at the end of March and it is quite a formal "do" so I need a frock. Now I don't do frocks, I do joggers/jeans and sweatshirts. I also don't do shops, especially expensive shops, but needs must
The Mother of the Groom has got hers now (Hobbs) and very nice it is too - just not "me" and DD went with her when she bought it and they had a lovely day
So far I'd done nothing more than some internet browsing and as time is marching on E was getting anxious so on sat she dragged me to a "proper" MOB shop. In an ideal world I want a warm trouser suit cos I feel the cold and our church is freezing but that shop frowned on anything so down market as wool/jersey and had no trousers at all. We looked for around 10 mins then she dragged me out. Strange I thought. Once outside she asked if I'd seen the prices, I said I'd deliberatly not looked. She had and was appauled to find that it was possible to spend far more there than she had spent on her dress, which is a Maggie
We then went to an edge of town mall and "did" their quite small Debenhams where I managed to buy a bra that fits (a first) and saw little we liked that was suitable.
Yesterday I suggested "town" and she insisted on including my best mate (to referree?) which I was a bit miffed at. It did not go well. We trailed round a fair few shops and it soon became apparent that the only trouser suits or trousers on offer are dark grey, dark brown or navy - no thanks. My back was giving me gyp and all the boutique shops were in places with no lifts and very narrow steep stairs - not my forte. We started sniping at each other too cos I thought a salmon pink jacket was hideous (MOB is in shocking pink and purple, can you just imagine the pics :rotfl:) and she thought I was being negative.
So..... I've had a day off today and intend doing round three on my own tomorrow. Watch this spaceMurphy was an optimist!!!0
