My shoulder is still sore but my back seems to be a little better...the shoulder is a real pain in the bum as it is my left one and I am left handed and because my right hand and wrist is already beggered, has always had to do the main part of the work.

So I've ended up with both hurting now!
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

Can I just say in my own defense, that when I started the Black Dog thread, I stated that I was suggesting a place to share coping strategies, particularly ones that don't cost money. It seemed to mutate into a whole other animal entirely.

    What she said LW!!

Sorry I've not been around much, I'm having some technical difficulties atm as my laptop has died again. :( It's with BIL atm but not sure if it needs a DNR order on it... I'm very upset about it's absence...not least because I'm now using DH's which only has 512mb of ram and was riddled with viruses when I started using it! (I'm used to 4gb ram...this is PAINFULLY slow) Anyway, cos of this I've been limited with what sites I'll manage to go on before I give up on the slowness!!

Hope you're all ok in my absence :)

Had a doctor's appointment today. She changed my painkillers, put me on Gabapentin, referred me to an Osteopath and to an ME clinic.

The ME clinic wanted a whole list of tests done, so I had to have six phials of blood taken. They couldn't find a vein and kept stabbing me. I then went all funny and felt sick! Anyway, tests are always a good thing for me! I'm always holding out hope something will show that hasn't before, which will have a cure for!

I went from having a good day yesterday, to it ending in a bad one.

Just going out for the first time in ages, left me exhausted, but then I fell last night and my back went into spasm, meaning I had to lie on the floor for around 20 minutes until it eased :(

Have been in a weird sort of mood today, but very much wanting to eat cake - and chocolate - or sweets - or anything with sugar in, actually :D
