Ouch nanamoo, done that one too and exactly the same injury....I had been on the phone to a friend at the time and just popped upstairs to sort something out when I slipped and fell on a juice cup my middle son had thrown as I took a step. The friend heard me scream, got babble from my eldest son (who was about 4/5 at the time) and called an ambulance.

Still get problems with the tail bone even now.
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

I've had that many falls down the stairs I've lost count of the times and the damage...only the more ouch ones stick in my memory :rotfl:

Wrenched my shoulders before in falls, damaged ligaments in my knees, sprained ankles, tore muscles in my back ...the list goes on and on and on (you get the picture).

Maybe I should get a bungalow :rotfl:

lol i know what you mean, im a disaster waiting to happen, last year i dislocated my knee just from standing up, luckily it snapped back into place straight away but in doing that it bruised the cartilage and again caused problems walking

Yeah... I dislocate stuff a lot. Have to say, the hip is the most difficult to relocate. Good luck, Sue.

i tend not to go upstairs unless i really have to, usually i send the kids or my OH lol even converted our dining room into a bedroom and use a sofabed with 3 futon mattresses on it to make it comfy instead of having to go upstairs to bed

Of course you can. :) What makes you wonky?

3 x spinal disc surgeries, left with a parasthetic left leg (crushed nerve roots) served with a light sprinkling of Hughe's syndrome, hypertension and topped with some recurrent mental health issues. Voila! :j

I'm lucky I've never fallen down stairs - I've had a few near misses though. Being forced to walk without holding on to the bannister doesn't help. (because people are going up stairs on both sides and I'm coming down)
