Thanks Bevan! I went back to sleep and woke feeling a bit better. Still sore, but will be okay I think.

OMG Jaz  are you alright? That sounds like a pretty bad fall.
    Bevan well done you!:T
I'm still literally feeling dizzy with exhaustion - dunno why; I'd have thought it'd be better by now.

Got to have my hair coloured later today (Mr LW's task - and he reads terry Pratchett to me while we wait for the colour to take):p
Tomorrow we have tickets for Verdi's "Falstaff" at MK Theatre, so I'll be doing as little as possible during the day, to save my spoons so that I can enjoy it.

    Have a lovely weekend everyone.

Jaz hope you're ok... Have you got someone at home to look out for any signs of head injury? (Danger brain injury symptoms include feeling confused, dizzy, feeling or being sick and having a headache. Any of these could be unrelated to the head injury but they could also be a sign that something is going on inside the skull) You really should get it checked out at hosp. Esp if you feel exceptionally drowsy (would you be able to tell?! :p)

Bevan well done! Look after yourself now stress over! :)

Sharon hope you're enjoying your own bed now home!

Am struggling a little with the lyrica... today first day with 3 tablets (150mg, half of dose am working up to) and very very dizzy, but hopefully better tomorrow! x

I'm okay thanks! Achey, but I think I'll live!

Thank you, yeah my mum is here.

Not only would I not notice the tiredness, I have been off work all week with a splitting headache anyway! So not going to notice if I get an additional one!

No, honestly, the headache is a lot better. I do feel sick, and was sick, but other than that have been okay. I didn't hit my head, but it was a worry earlier, as obviously was very shaken up (physically) from falling. The blurriness went after the sleep.

    I think I'll be okay, thanks. :)

I'm more worried about my back - I landed on my coccyx, which hurts at the best of times, and it now very bruised and painful when I move. A lot of people get Fibromyalgia from falls/accidents - what happens to people with Fibro that then fall?! Do we explode? Bodies go into melt down?

My knee has a nice lump, I think I wacked it on the wall at the bottom of the stairs.

Otherwise - hardly any other bruises have come up. I am very annoyed - I think I deserved some nice bruises to show off after that! ;)

Good luck with the Lyrica, really hope it helps and the dizziness passes soon.

  • Oo Jaz, keep up with some sort of NSAI (ibuprofen, diclofenac) if you can. Maybe Arnica? Hope you're feeling better soon lovely, try not to fall down any stairs again! x

Sorry to hear that Sharon. Hope you have a nice relaxing sleep. Wishing you lots of strength. xxx

Hehe, I'll try not to! I'm actually terrifed of the stairs now - I think my leg gave way, so wasn't just being clumsy.

I will do, thanks for the suggestions!

I struggled (as did others I'm aware of) with getting started on it. I couldn't handle the 150mgs, even only once a day with 75mgs. It's a big jump from nothing too, so don't be afraid to take your time getting used to it.

We get to feel more pain and take far longer to recover. ;)
And I've damaged my coccyx a couple of times and it HURTS, you have my sympathy! Mine flares up every time AF visits too, just for the fun of it...
