  • I don't know, dry rot - dust - pffffft - I'll have to give this place a deep clean this morning. When's the snow going to stop - this is getting beyond a joke......

I must say that I appreciate the lovely cafe and am sending lots of Indian warmth to those who need it. Hot and humid weather does not suit everyone but it is certainly nice for me. I find I can cope even with my M.E. although many with M.E. can't cope with hotter weather.
My friend is extremely welcoming and I feel at home in her house. It is a very basic house as most Indian houses are in Tamil Nadu (rural south india) but it is so nice being with a true friend.
My husband has started with the cavity wall insulation top up. Needed for the UK.
I showed my friend our garden covered with snow. She asked if it hurt our heads when the snow came down. I said it was silent and like a shower of baby powder, not hail stones. She could not believe the garden seat which she sat on had disappeared under the layer of white stuff.
I can send anyone a virtual proper Indian take-away.... freshly prepared and delicious of course.. followed by the juice of a fresh coconut and bananas from the banana grove.
    Any takers?

Ooh, yes please. Not too spicy - something like a vegetable korma would be good. And the coconut and bananas sound fantastic.

*Looks at clock* Gosh, it's teatime. I got a bit carried away with my cross stitch I think.

Yes please, I'll have one of those lovely scones.
