:beer:Cheers Horace. Mulled cider would go down well right now.

Right, got to get off me bum now, Mr LW is working from home today, and wants veggie Shepherd Spy served up in the RW in about 2 mins time (his lunch break is 1 til 2).

Well I arrived safely at my friend's house in India. It is hot 28 degrees, so I'm in the oven and you are in the fridge still.
The cafe is wherever you wish it to be.
    Off to recover from jetlag.

Oh LameWolf - that sounds horrid - glad you are clawing your way back out of the pit though - here's that mulled cider for you!

M.E. - for you a nice chilled glass or several of wine! and of course gin and tonic :D

Horace - I'm sorry to hear your eyes are playing silly beggars again (and they appear to have all the pieces!)

Lunch is jacket spuds with filling of choice, spicy soup and fresh baked bread and various nibbly things.

I hope to stitch again today (I finished some stitching off! I am really pleased with my self!) my ankle was spasming like blazes yesterday and I did nothing at all!
Do not meddle in the affairs of Dragons, for thou art crunchy and good with catsup :D

Hi Dragon - the spicy soup and jacket spud went down a treat.

I am trying to have a no spend day today but keep looking at the RNIB website as they have some mirrors with massive magnification which I will need if I am going to start wearing my warpaint again:D I just can't decide what to get - do I go for 10 x or 8 x magnification? Decisions decisions.

Had some good news today, I asked the posh marquee place if they will let me have a stand at their open day - they refused that out of fairness to the other planners with whom they work but have said that they will put out some of my business cards:j

M.E. Please send us some warm weather - glad you have arrived safely and that your OH has started on the long list of jobs you have left for him:D Hope you have a fab time.

Well - off to put the kettle on - I need a coffee.

*YAWN* Oh my, I'm tired today. Dungeons & Dragons at Mr LW's pal's house last night, it always leaves me totally cream crackered.

We sure could do with some of M.E's hot weather - roads are very icy round here, and I was worrying til I got the daily text to say that Mr LW had arrived safely at work.

Mr LW loved the lemon sponge cake with lemon marmalade filling I made recently, so I've brought some here for you to try. :p

((((TaBunny)))) Right, go to a non-dusty bit of the house and take several deep, slow breaths.

It's good that he's found the dry rot. I know it's a nasty shock, but you need to know about it before it gets worse.

I do understand - I hate having workmen in the house, stresses me out big time (I shall be on the other side of this conversation next week when we have our new hot water cylinder put in).

This chaos will pass, trust me. And come in here and scream if you feel the need.

I've been so good not having a major panic melt down in ages but this today has set me back so much, I can feel my OCD creeping over me, I bet I won't eat now till all this is done I can't eat if a place isn't spotless part of my ocd and now the whole house is shimmering with red dust I feel trapped and can't escape out the house as joints so bad. Thanks for trying to pep me up, I know most people find this hard so it's not just me, only up side is that I rent from housing association so there's no ££'s outlay for me but the mental toll is churning my insides.

TaBunny - sorry to hear about the discovery of dry rot (rather that than wet rot though). Dust is horrid especially when you least expect it in quantity.

Try and take some deep breaths to help you calm down and maybe put on some soothing music. Also try and eat something because we don't want you fading away.

Ask the housing association if they could relocate you until the work has been done - I have no idea if they will do that but it always helps to ask.

Did I hear someone mention lemon sponge with lemon marmalade?....drool.

    Yes, that was me.:p

TaBunny listen to Horace, she's right, you have to try and eat. And yes I do understand, as I go off my food completely if I'm stressed. I agree with looking into getting relocated til the work is done, if at all possible. Hang in there mate.
