Thanks for letting us know that you won't be around - you know we will only worry if you disappear. Hope Mr LW gets on ok with his fangs - I don't envy him in the slightest. Also hope you have some fab time together doing 'stuff'

My OH is coming up from London tomorrow - no doubt he will bring a pile of washing (it is getting to the stage where I am going to charge him) My fridge is now stocked with food and the fruit bowl is full. Who knows how long he will be staying:rolleyes: I love him to bits but get annoyed that he will commandeer my laptop meaning that I cannot do any work and he expects me to wait on him hand and foot - he will even stand in the kitchen eating his dinner if he is on the phone to his mate (he will never say to the mate that he is actually having his dinner:mad: ).

Well best go and get some lunch. Help yourself to fruit: oranges, apples and blueberries, oh and I still have lemons.

In fact, could I ask you to cross your fingers for him, as he has to visit the Fang Farrier on Tuesday, for some fairly major dental work. I'll be going along with him in case he doesn't feel well enough to drive home.

My stubby little fingers are crossed. As someone who's had major reconstructive work he has my sympathy. I hope it goes well. Don't let him leave the surgery without a painkiller prescription!

The cafe is open for business, even if most of UK is shut by snow. Come in and laze by the fire. Virtual goodies aplenty.
    No need to venture further.
For those who need hugs ... they're here!

Okay - Legolas needs to keep feeding me hot mugs of tea, red wine and munchies - I plan to spend the day working on my cross stitch!

I am only poking my nose in - it is way too cold in this room to stay much longer. Am off to loll in front of the telly - there is an old western on Channel 4:j

Just calling in for a quick coffee and a rest by the fire. Am busy packing but I have made so much chaos in the process that I have shut the door on it :o

I know how you feel. The rail in my wardrobe fell down during the night. My OH put it back up and I decided I would sort out my clothes with a view to giving some away and making a bit of space. Needless to say there is a big pile of t-shirts on my bed and I'm in the other room surfing the net. I will do it before bedtime, honest.

    I've come for a coffee.
Busy packing for my stay with my friend in India.
Thankful that we have a nice warm house and the cafe is also a haven of calm and peace.
Good vibes for those who need them...

I'm feeling very lucky. Both our cars got MOTed this week and they both passed. I had horrible visions of having to pay out hundreds of pounds to keep them on the road.

And, as of today, I am reducing my hours to work part-time which will make me very happy. I've also managed to get a bit of work modelling for the lcal art club which will bring in some easy cash.

    I love my life. :rotfl:
