Now now ladies - put your claws and paws away no need to fight over Orlando 'Legolas' Bloom:rotfl: Give me Viggor Mortensen any day of the week...excuse me whilst I drool:rotfl: He could be my house elf:rotfl:0

There is a never-ending supply of virtual elves, thank goodness.
Sometimes I wish one would transmogrify into a real one though... or even the Seven Dwarves....
Ache all over today and still not back to pre-'lurgy' level.
Daughter took us out in the car yesterday. She passed her test on Monday!!!!
I'm trying to do the piles of washing she brought back from Uni, whilst she is in London collecting Visas for India (mine!) and Russia (hers!).
The cafe has a seafood special this lunchtime.. you see the food here and as it is virtual it is brilliant.
Lots of cheer for those that need it and if you are depressed come into the cafe for that virtual pick-me up that leaves you feeling good.0 -
Well done M.E's daughter.:dance::dance::dance::dance: Great news.If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0

Congratulations to M.E.'s daughter on passing her test!
And what about this India Visa? Have I missed something?I'm a retired employment solicitor. Hopefully some of my comments might be useful, but they are only my opinion and not intended as legal advice.0 -
Well, I'm off to India for a whole month.
YAY...:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j
Daughters' school has a charity arrangement with an Ashram (religious community) and a post-tsunami school project in Tamil Nadu, right on the southern tip of India.
The school has arranged a visit each February half-term for several years.
Whilst there I met a lovely lady Frankie and not only have we corresponded we have visited each other.
So I am going for a whole month this year as I have just retired.
I don't have too much problem with heat or spicy food and although my M.E. does have limitations I found India suited me. Both daughters and our family love Frankie and her daughter Candida so I go with their blessing. My husband HATES HEAT AND SPICES so he'll not go, but will enjoy some DIY  whilst I'm gone.
I'll move the cafe to India if that is OK?
Meanwhile DD2 is off to Russia for 5 months as part of her Uni course.
I'll be in the oven she'll be in the fridge:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I hate heat and spices too - methinks I will visit the Russian outpost of the cafe. M.E - does your OH know about the list of DIY jobs you have prepared for him?
I am off to the Spring Fair next week - mainly to look but I am hoping to persuade some stationery suppliers to let me become an outlet for their goods. I have already been chatting with a giftware company but now I have attracted this huge American company that sells sweets - they keep asking if I will buy in quantity and pointed me in the direction of their website, I have told them that I don't buy and yet they still keep pestering. Having looked on their website - I won't be buying anything from them ever but they are not taking the hint:mad: Anyway American chocolate is horrid and I wouldn't inflict it on my worst enemy:rotfl:
I will have a large Smirnoff Vodka with tonic please - heavy on the ice and a huge slice of lemon please.0 -
Lots of ice in your vodka is good Horace - your body has to use energy to bring the ice back up to body temperature, thus cancelling out the calories in the vodkaI'm a retired employment solicitor. Just so that nobody worries, I'll be offline after today til next Wednesday. Mr LW has a couple of days off, so we'll be doing "stuff".
In fact, could I ask you to cross your fingers for him, as he has to visit the Fang Farrier on Tuesday, for some fairly major dental work. I'll be going along with him in case he doesn't feel well enough to drive home.
TIA.If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0
