Happy Birthday Ally - hope you have a fab time, and yoof hostelling too.

Now there is braised beef with colcannon mash and mixed veg, followed by steamed treacle sponge and custard or ice cream.

I will have one of those slimming smoothies - I need to make myself thin and beautiful by Saturday (my chum is taking a picture of me because I have been asked for one by the telly folks:eek: ). I hate having my picture taken at the best of times.

Look Dragon - its just tv and nowt special, I won't get airs and graces and start asking for champagne with my soup:rotfl:

Thank-you. We're off SYH-ing at the hostel at Crianlarich, just up the road, North of Loch Lomond. Nice place, nice scenery, and an accessible room too. Hostels have changed a lot since they got rid of the age restriction and switched some of the dormitories for private rooms.

I stayed in one in Menaggio Italy, it had dorms which werent too bad but the thing I hated was the communal shower - I remember I got up early one morning and went and had a shower, came out totally starkers to get dressed and in walked a chap also totally starkers:eek: What I did after that was wait around until the folks my OH was on holiday with (it was coincidental that we were in the same place at the same time) had gone out and then I used to sneak into their room as it had a private shower and showered in there instead:D

Hope you have a lovely time and it isnt too snowy.

Hmm SPAM in a glass - novel! Right I am about to start making Goulash - both beef and veggie - I hope everyone is happy with that! This of course will be served with fresh crusty bread and more cocktails :rotfl:

Goulash - I haven't eaten that since I went to Middle School. Yum.

I will have some please Dragon and maybe I will have a Baileys Latte (the sun has gone in and its too cold for cocktails and mocktails).
  • It's pouring with rain here in sunny Scotland, so Crianlarich must be beautiful in the snow !!!!!
