recovering_spendaholic wrote:Thanks for this - do you think it would be worthwhile to get an aerial fitted (costs £37)? I could ask the aerial people to connect up the DVD then!!!
£37 seems very reasonable to me for supplying and fitting an aerial - although I would make sure that its going to be one that's OK for digital TV, cos that's all there will be in a few years time! If you can persuade the fitter to help you out with connecting it all up so much the better!
Once you've got that, both the aerial lead and the scart lead from the cable box can pass through the DVD recorder on their way to the TV.0 -

£37 is the price for the digital aerial so I think I will go ahead and give them a ring!Jane

I have the TV aerial going through the Technika box and then into the TV and when I have the box powered up it makes the TV very fuzzy (like it isn't tuned in correctly). When the box is off the TV is fine. Is this a problem with the box or something I've done wrong in the settings? I looked and tried different settings but couldn't see anything there... It definately didn't do this when I first got it and if anyone could help me I'd be very grateful0

Bought mine on 13 December for £79.99.
It has worked perfectly with DVD+RW but froze every time I used a DVD+R to record.
Now it has gone off & won't come back on. I've checked the socket, fuse & all the obvious things.
Think I'll have to return it to Tesco but I can't find the receipt!! I've got my bank statement with my debit card purchase on but are Tesco CS instore likely to accept this as proof of purchase?
I bought other items so the total is for more than £79.99 but I know exactly which day I bought it.
Will they return it for repair or exchange it for another? As the price dropped after I bought it am I likely to be offered a much lower priced item?
Has anyone else had to return one recently?
