I am a litigation solicitor employed at Birmingham City Council in a senior capacity.

Are the council happy with your citing them in this way as a sort of reference? I'm quite surprised.

It's also worth noting that it's not a great idea to post details that enable you to be identified so easily. http://www.lawsociety.org.uk/choosingandusing/findasolicitor/view=solicitordetails.law?id=159104&orgid=65697&SURNAME=hayre&FORENAMES=&FIRMNAME=&POSTCODE=&searchType=S That is you?

Wish you all the best in getting this sorted.
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

There is no use now trying to persuade me that you have been acting in my interest.

You allowed me to send a substantial amount of money across to Bulgaria, only to tell me when I had sent it, that my contract wasn't legal or valid!!!

Don't you think that if you were acting in my best interest, as my solicitor in Bulgaria, you should have read it and told me this before I sent the money, rather than after.

How can yoyu deny knowing Desi?

Please don't add lying to your already appalling record!!

Personally, I hope you do eventually get struck off. The way you have treated your customers/clients is absolutely disgraceful.

You don't know (and don't care) how much stress you have caused me, and others I'm sure.

I for one beleive you deserve all the criticism you get.
  • RM1,

I have never denied knowing Desi. Of course I know her and of course I know a lot of other directors of developing companies in Bulgaria.
Regarding the issue with your contracts: I would like to thank you for the possibility you give me to clarify the situation with those invalid contracts. First of all the exchange of the contracts between the developer sand the clients is not a part of my service, as you know very well the fact that you have been provided with contracts via the agency Amba sun Limited, UK. In 2006 Amba sun Limited UK, as your agency-mediator obviously has ignored the contracts approved by me and they have presented to you and some other clients those “contracts”. I am afraid the reason for that is that the agency-mediator was in a hurry to provide you with “any kind of contract” only for the purpose of you to pay your 1st installments and the agency to be able to collect quickly their commissions.
I would like to explain that they are not valid according to the Bulgarian law, but they are still bounding for the agency-mediator, which signed them.
Taking into an account the above I would not be in position to advise you regarding your contract without knowing what type of contract you have before you send me a copy of that.
I would like to thank you for your wishes addressed to me and to inform you that I do care for the clients and I do my best for all my clients to be satisfied by getting their properties built and obtain the ownership of them.
  • Hi,
I am completely new to this and have just been reading through all your posts and am thinking what a nightmare this is! I have bought an apartment in the Shatto development in Bansko but have not heard anyone else talking about this...has anyone else bought there?

I have just completed the urgent message letter we got but unfortunately I have paid in full for the apartment. I know to some this may seem stupid but it is now done and I can't turn back time unfortunately! I paid it in May 2008, have heard from Ambasun on a couple of occassions since then, but only after several emails and calls, and have also been in touch with Anna who seemed helpful at the start of this year but I haven't heard from for three months.

I was sent a habitation certificate on 1st Dec 2008 and was told that the deal would be finalised in the new year, but nothing since then!
I am very worried about it and really am not sure what to do. I have had no correspondance from Delagio or Desi. Any advice would be welcome!

    Thanks

Again glad yours is finished, if you are happy with it and trust everything is ok - why are you bothering with following this forum !!!

    We were not so lucky
  • Hi I'm new to this, but have been following comments for a little while.
I have bought in Dawn Park A and what I can make out things hopefully seem fine for this development. .

I would like to ask Anna about contracts.. I received the preliminary contract which was sighed and returned to Amba Sun B'Ham about June last year. I have not had any notice as to whether this has been returned to yourself, and also when do we get the final contract.PAyments have been made in full and this is stated on the contract.
  • Hi Been had,
the procedure for the contracts is: I revise them and send the electronic copy to Ambasun, who as agency are obliged to ensure both parties have a signed copy and must look after the exchange of the copies. If they had not given you a copy , maybe it is left with developer
