Whilst ever now and again someone is able to provide a useful snippet of information on this forum thread, I am concerned by those replies from individuals clearing reveling in other people's difficulties!

Well, you can't complain really, as this is a public forum and you have chosen to post here. You have to take the advantages and disadvantages of a wide readership as a package.
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

This thread reminds me of the Egyptian Property Investors thread!
  • I'm new to this but has anyone purchasede through Ambasun on Nevena 2 which is next to the Fairmont ?

By the way I understand that Amba Sun UK went into liquidation on 9th April
  • Following the thread. Fed up with private forum's. Poor old Jag getting grief from hand picked client representatives, who some just happen to be getting promises from Desi. What are these client representatives getting in return? Free maintenance? Priority rentals? Cash?
Thanks for your support Jag. I for one appreciate what you have done
  • I have just spent the last couple of hours reading through this whole thread. And I feel for anyone caught up in this. I went through something similar with Bulgarian Dreams back in 2005/2005. However, whilst I did not feel it at the time, I was very lucky in that I pulled out of the purchase after lots of things were suddenly extra or not included and very poor customer service and threats from Bulgarian Dreams and the director Mr Jenkins. In the end I had to visit developers office in Sofia and got 2/3rds of the deposit back from them but had to sue Bulgarian Dreams through small claims court in the Uk for 6000 E they kept in commissions. I complained to Trading Standards at the time along with 2 or 3 others and to Watch Dog and the likes but no-one would do anything or report the story.

Bulgarian Dreams were advertising heavily in various newspapers and had some phoney awards for best agent etc.

4 years later and Bulgarian Dreams have gone under, been reported on watchdog and run off with thousands and thousands of people's money.

Your best hope is to stick together. Its a horrible, stressful situation but keep fighting and you may get somewhere.

I note Amba Sun's website is still up and running but that the company has gone into liquidation.

    I bought in Brazil.
    They have not delivered.

Amba sun Ltd went into liquidation yesterday Irwin & Co are the Administrators.

I think every should pool together and get Brendan Maxwell (Former director of Amba sun Ltd, He drew lots of money out of the Amba account then resigned as a director. Information from companieshouse.gov.uk)
Lets get him charged with a criminal offence. Or pay the administrators to investigate him.

This Man should be locked up.

If it sounds too good to be true it usually is..

According to 192.com there is a
    BRENDAN TERANCE MAXWELL

    10 SQUIRREL WALK
    SUTTON COLDFIELD
    WEST MIDLANDS
    B74 3AU

    - Age 43, - who they list as a Director of AmbaSun (and 10 other companies, quite a few "Amba's" and quite a few addresses to go look for him at)

Who apparently lives with a lady of the same surname

192.com also report the house as a new build, sold 23 Aug 2004, @ £1,160,500.

I'm sure he is an honourable, honest gent who has done nothing wrong, but would love to hear from people with a business connection & any stories from the Ambasun sagas..

Ho hum.. bet this gets reported/erased..

    Cheers!
