    Hiya,

Will head over to your thread in a minute! I find posting on here, whether it is my thread or someone else's, helps with my motivation.

My savings have come through so I have been able to pay some of them off my credit card. I should be able to pay some more off during the week but first off I have to make sure that the money comes through from the tenants for our flat. They are late payers.

It feels great to be sub-20k. It has been my goal for a long time. I finally feel like I have turned a corner and I can see an end in sight. It is the first time I actually think I might be able to get rid of this debt.

Excellent news and to be below £20K is a Fantastic achievement.

Whats your next target on the road to your eventual goal?

    Keep motivated.

  • Thanks Hobsch,

My next goal is sub 15k and I have started a challenge with someone from the 15k hat challenge to see who can get below it first!

Ideally I would like to be sub 15k by the time OH finishes uni, which is the beginning of July. That would be fantastic, and to be sub 10k by Xmas would be even better!

What about you? When you get to sub 23k what is your next challenge?

I think based on how much I have been paying off (so far) I have to take each £1000 at a time so Sub £22K will be the next target. However, if plans etc pay off and do take place maybe I will be able to increase this.

Sounds like a good enough plan to me! I was able to pay off another £120 today from my AQA earnings.

I noticed I have been slipping a bit lately with buying magazines etc so I need to keep an eye on that. I also nearly booked 2 return flights to Mallorca during the week but just managed to stop myself and then the prices went up so I wasn't able to. Travel is such a weakness for me.

Please someone give me a kick!
