Hi - just checking in to see how everyone is. I have been knee deep in paperwork - where does it all come from? I did manage to get two loaves made which smell delicious. I used to shape them freehand and bake them on a baking sheet but DH said he prefers them loaf-shaped (mainly because they don't need to be squashed into his sandwich box for work!) so I now use the loaf tins but have a real job getting them out. I've tried lining the tin with greaseproof paper with overhangs to act as handles and that works reasonably well, but it will not be very OS to have to do that with six loaves a week. Today I tried foil and that just ripped when I tried to extract the loaves. I have tried greasing the tins and not greasing them, so I would welcome some pointers about where I'm going wrong. If I can't find a solution DH will just have to get used to the rustic shapes again! They're newish non-stick tins but still stick!
Not much to say about dinner except that we are having a sort of mixed grill which will include using up some mushrooms I've just found at the back of the fridge.
Anyway, off to make a cuppa.
Haribo - please don't stop posting.
(((Hugs))) to all who are unwell or worried.

Hi all
I'm what you'd call a part-time OS'er. The values are inscribed on my brain, very much because my father is very much OS himself - he calls it 'old fashioned'
All gentle steps and ideas welcomed!
I'll add your post the today's Old Style Daily. You should find more Old Style inspiration there

I wasnt sure whether to post today or not... My OS will be in blue also ( Squiggly inspired me lol)
Well it has been a busy day here and not even sure i have managed to get alot done. Its our Wedding anniversary tomorrow but because DS is at college late tomorrow H and i are suppossed to be going out this evening to eat. Not very MS but we are going for a 2 for 1
This morning i made a tomato and sausage casserole in the SC for boys tea tonight. Used a jar of pasatta because they dont like tomatoes lol...Think they are having it with mash potato. My WM decided not to spin the clothes so after 2 attempts it finally got there, i think its on its way out to be honest. Not very good for a 2 year old washer (they dont make things like they used too !!) Then it started to rain. So i have a laundry in my garage. H put me up washing lines over the laundry end.. Its great for drying clothes, especially when the car engine is warm.
Hugs to all that need them. Hope you all have a great rest of the day

Just to let you know, folks, I've had to delete a couple of posts as they contravene the site's rules forbidding the giving and asking for medical advice. Sorry
