Morning all,
I too am not sure what I should be writting, so I think for the time being I will keep this brief.
Pork chops to go in the sc later, I cook them in there, then crisp them under the grill, delish, with mash, roast squash cabbage and brocoli.
Not sure if I will put the wm on yet, depends what the weather is doing, will tidy through, and might make a cake.
Hugs to those in need and welcome to the new posters.
(Goodness that looks dull)
Thanks for all the lovely pm's you know who you are :A0 -

DD is in later this morning, so I am making a cheese omelette in the Remoska. DW has been on and my helper is coming today as she had an emergency yesterday and was only here for about 5 mins. Hope she still has the list as I dont have much energy today to write another.
WM hasnt needed to go on the last 2 days as the basket is quite empty.
Away on our hols next Thursday and cant wait.
OH has come dowm with a nasty bug and he is supposed to start his course today. He was in bed at 5 last night.
Breakfast: Cheese Omelette
Lunch: Tuna & Salad on WM
Dinner: Fish, Roasties, Carrots and Cabbage
Take care everyone and hugs to all.

Morning everyone
:hello: :hello: :hello: :hello: :hello: :hello: :hello: and ((((((((((((hugs))))))))))) to all
welcome to all the new posters lovely to see you
today first thing I have to go into town some nice little child broke dd's glasses so need to sort that then drop her of at school
then I need to go shopping mainly for basic stock items like flour sugar ect any on special offer at the mo
I'm also going to go to the butcher on the market to bulk buy some meat and cook some stuff for the freezer although I'm not sure what to make a bit different seem to eat a lot of spag bol and similar meals
I need to get to see dh at some point so he can change an indicator bulb that has gone on the car might do that on the way back from town
have a good day all
pam xxI didn't say it was your fault, I said I was going to blame you

Good morning everyone:wave:
Right, BM, SC, TD and DW not on 'cos I don't own any of them:D
WM not on either 'cos it aint working. I quite like not doing the laundry I must say. I don't know how long we can keep going before I'll need to do some though. Fingers crossed the man will fix it tomorrow.
Tuesday is my favourite day -dd has an after-school club so doesn't finish until 4, the boys get in about 4 so I have a nice long and quiet day to myself pottering in the kitchen with my audio books -simple pleasures;)
Today I must make the chicken stock with the remains of Sunday's chicken. I also need to bake bread. I'll do a batch of 4 wholemeal loaves and a double batch of soft white rolls/baps. I'll probably make some kind of muffins too.
For breakfast the kids have just eaten chocolate porridge. This is just porridge with a few choc chips stirred in and a bit of brown sugar. Their enthusiasm for porridge was beginning to wane so I felt it needed a makeover;) Not the healthiest of breakfasts perhaps, but probably much less sugar than cocopops and the like. I'm having a Lemsip:rolleyes:
Packed lunches are cheese filled pittas (OH also had watercress and onion in his), carrot sticks, flapjack and fruit. Leftover soup for me again.
Supper tonight is in 2 shifts as dd has a swimming lesson so the kids will eat early. I'm giving them pasta with bacon, cream and peas. Me and OH have got a treat for later -a bit of steak to eat with baked spuds and salad. I have a 25 kg sack of Marfona spuds from the farmshop for £6.50. I'm about half way through it. They are the best for baking -light and creamy inside. Enormous too so you can make a meal out one baked potato.
Now then, can someone enlighten me as I think I have missed something -is Kyle now called Princess Tippitoes, or has Twink got another daughter?

Morning :hello:
Ooooh new posters, hello to you :hello: Special hello to Rummer, who is about to have (well not her personally lol) some piggle babies any day now
I kept waking up in the night with toothache, when I woke up properly there was no painWeird.
I had a fight with my old printer yesterday, I haven't uninstalled it yet cos there's loads of ink left and I want to use it all up. I finally managed to print off loads of backing papers last night so I put them in piles in the lounge (along with all the other card bits), ready to make cards today. Mr troo walked in and went  I've picked up loads of tips from people on how to keep a cottage industry going at the mo. They learned a lot through the last recession and they've been teaching me
NEED to make cakes todayAnd do some washing, ironing, cage cleaning........... Could someone lend me 4 hours? I don't have enough time today

I have come on to confess............. I am deeply ashamed.............
I am giving my children Fish Fingers for supper - there I've said it!!
They have never had them before and they asked what they were like, so they are having them with mashed potato and like Aussie, Rock Melon for pudding (its like a Galia melon really) but yummy.
Boiling hot here today, seem to have spent most of it in the car, but smug that I have made a start on my Christmas shopping.
NOTHING OS happening here today - (gulp) - might be excommunicated. PROMISE I will get back into it when I get a home.
Hope you all have good days.

Morning All
Wasn't going to post & didn't yesterdy owing to the debate, but then thought, this is home so tough I'm staying:p
morwenna - quinces should be in shops now - try a small greengrocer. But you can grow your own trees. I've never tried using them, but understand they're revolting raw, so need to be made into something - I hear jelly is good.
Had breakfast of mango & plums. Lunch will probably be something involving a cold sausage left over from last night's dinner & dinner I have no idea about, but thinking something with pasta.
Spent much of last night scouring the net for cheap deals to EuroDisney for my 25th birthday next month. Found something, so now hoping both my girlies are coming too:T Think we've done it for £160 each which I think is very good considering one price was over £1100:eek:
Question: how easy is it to make mushroom strogganoff (horrendous spelling I know):rotfl: ? Would love to make it, but just the name alone sounds scary!!
Hugs to all in pain or who didn't sleep or are just feeling a tad down for whatever reason.Comping, Clicking & Saving for Change0 -
Just a quick hello, had no internet connection for a couple of days, so will read up and try to get back later.

Why is it I have less time now I am retired then when I worked?0 -
Scuzz has reminded me that I meant to say to Morwenna that quinces are indeed available now -Waitrose is probably your best bet. They tend to be from Turkey rather than the UK. Failing that, try a farmshop;)0
