Scratching my head about Sky+

Freesat from sky is similar to freeview however you would need to purchase the equipment or a viewing card for £20, where as with freeview you only need to buy the box or a freeview tv. If you would like a more detailed explanation the you could call Sky. You never know you might get ME :eek:
The information you gave in the post that I linked is still 100% incorrect.
Freeview is nothing whatsoever to do with Sky, the free channels via Freeview differ to the channels on FreesatfromSky.
I had a feeling that you may well be a Sky employee, that speaks volumes.:rolleyes:0 -

I never said freeview was anything to do with Sky (it obviously isn't). I think a few people on here seem to get slightly confused
:doh:
The amount of customers that ask a question, then don't take the factual answer on board...... it's obviously not the answer they're wanting to hear :rolleyes:

If you cancel, you still have your existing card in your box giving you all the Freesat channels. Not 240+ channels, but you'll get 44 channels same as freeview.
No card in the box gives you 44 channels.
Again, I've never mentioned that FreesatfromSky and Freeview is the same.
Didn't say you did, was just stating (yet again) what some can't seem to fathom.
Yes it is and I never argued the fact it isn't.
Your existing card from the cancelled subscription acts as the FreesatfromSky card. Why buy another card for £20 that does exactly the same?[/quote] YES, YOU'LL ONLY GET 44+ CHANNELS
IF SOMEONE WANTED FREESAT FROM SKY THEY NEED TO PAY A ONE OFF PAYMENT OF £20 TO GET SENT ANOTHER SKY VIEWING CARD FROM SKY TO GET 240+ TV CHANNELS. THE LINK BELOW RE FREESAT STATES NEW VIEWING CARD WOULD NEED TO BE SENT OUT FOR A £20 CHARGE.

^If you wish scroll down to 'what will I receive?' in sky's freesat t&c's.
I can't be any clearer than this

There is only one person on this thread that is confused/confusing, that is you.
Do you deny posting this;

Freesat is another part of sky where for a one off payment of £20 they will send you a viewing card that enables you to watch a 100 freesat channels aswell as your freeview channels.
Where you clearly state that cards will revert to Freeview and that customers will be able to watch 100 channels as well as the Freeview channels.
The reason people don't take on board " factual " answers from Sky Representatives is simply because most of them are incapable of giving them, yourself included, it would appear.:rolleyes:0 -

Where does it say anywhere in the T&C's that existing customers who have moved to Freesat have to pay £20?Dave. :wave:0 -

Didn't deny anything, it's in black & white.
If you look at my previous post i said "the card will rever to freeview on the sky digibox & not freesat".
I think you are incapable of taking this information onboard as in my previous post i also said that it is now 240+ channels.
My advice was to someone else, its clearly obvious that you only post to provoke & twist info.:p

It clearly states £20 for anyone who wishes to purchase a freesat from sky viewing card, regardless if you are a existing customer or not.
Why cant some people on here simply read the info correctly instead of others having to repeat themselves over & over on the same advice.
If you are still in any doubt i suggest you call sky or get someone to read out the t&c's on the freesat from sky website, as you username clearly shows that you are inactive/incapible of taking in info.

It is you that cannot read/digest what you read, once again you have made a boo boo, you quote from Phantom Flan Flinger and then mention my user ID.:rolleyes:
It is little wonder that I read of so many people having problems with Sky.0 -

OK, I will spell it out in simple English that even you may understand;
Freeview is nothing to do with Sky, you cannot get Freeview on Sky, Freeview is via an aerial only, is that clear enough for you?
:rolleyes:0 -
I think jacks a bit confused0
