Oh dear. I can just see Harry Hill standing up, hands on table, shouting, 'There's only one way to sort this ... FIGHT!!!!!!!!!!'

We're being asked for opinions here - as far as I'm concerned I don't have to justify my right to give an opinion as asked for. Nor should anyone else. If people want a thread where they can just chat and thank each other, that's fine, but I'd rather it wasn't on this board. Other people feel differently - we can all say what we think. This shouldn't get personal.

Off to work soon - who know's where this'll be when I get back.

Sorry but you have just said you no longer post on it, why? Face no longer fit?

You can tell who is in vogue at any given time, they get a personal mention, out of fashion and you don't. Cliquiest board ever

I have to say that at the moment I am being mentioned by a few people but that I posted for weeks without more than one mention in another post. However I never saw that as being outside of a clique, just that I didn't have any reason to be sent extra hugs or thoughts or comments because my life was running smoothly and I was just posting about my OS stuff etc.

I am really sorry if it feels cliquey to you and I am sure noone intends it to be that way, but I never take it personally if I am not mentioned in others posts, because I do not mention everyone!

I am going to make an effort to keep down on the chat, but I hope it doesn't stop entirely as it clearly means a lot to people to have the thread there.

Lilibeth, I've read Haribo's threads and posts for a long time and I have never known her be nasty or sarcastic to anyone. I think that for some reason this thread has pressed a button for you and made you really angry. You even had a pop at my innocent little post.

It is right that everyone should have their say about this topic, but there is a line to be drawn when it comes to personal attacks.

Let us all say what we want to say, make our points - but do it with some kind of dignity and civility.
But it's ok for HariboJunkie to go through my posting history and attack me. Please

Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia. ;)

  • I am relatively new and have only posted a few times on the Daily and always found it really friendly. And hearing a bit abotu peoples lives made the posters more real. I never feel left out of things as I just appreciate the thread being a mish mash of everything. Othere threads can be really strict and you are scared to post anyting in case it is the wrong thing and that is sad.

Maybe we need some cooling down girls:D :D

Never seen much of a problem with pictures myself:o :o (PP and Pink I will remove this when Ive hung my washing out;) ;) promise)

Seriously I am pretty much an ex regular now (with the odd piccy attack for birthdays of course) I remember a number of these type of discussions in the past and tbh I dont think much really comes out of them.

I am not particularly OS in my life at all but I do like to do some small things and have defo saved money from reading some of the lovely peeps that take time to help us amateurs on the daily thread. As well as all that I love to read the daily adventures of some of the regulars and I guess we will all do some skimming and read the posts we are interested in.

Maybe we should revamp the sticky that starts the thread as I reckon most people dont actually read that much now anyway. My number one personal favourite change would be that we should restrict posts to one a day and if you want to make changes then go back and edit your post (that would make it shorter and more readable imo) Thanking everyone is a personal choice - I dont do it as I dont see why I should thank someone on their 10th post of the day  but as I say thats a personal choice its harmless and if people want to do that then fine. On top of this all piccys especially sparkly ones and ones that dont have firemen in should be banned. :D

I really thought the OS daily could have done with a few little changes like keep it a bit on track but if it's keeping away posters like this I say keep it as is. :D

This illustrates the insidious nastiness on this board, we are all so friendly don't you know and then stick the knife in the back.
  • I can see you are newish here too chattie but noone has ever stuck a knife in my back in the OS thread and I really can't see why you and others are so mad with it.

Mmmm I'm not complaining about that picture! :D

I would join in with the posts but have a bad memory and so it would take me ages to "talk" to everyone!
