Pigpen - what about adding something to the first post to say that newbies are welcome to join in any time and that it would be nice if they did a little intro to say they were a newbie like LilySue suggests above?

Cat is sat in front of the monitor so I cant see what I am typing. Do you think he is after something?

Triker (or anyone else with hens) - are your hens laying at the moment? We haven't had any eggs for 4 or 5 days and I can't find them hidden in the garden anywhere. My first year of keeping them so not sure if this is normal?

I'm sorry you poor wee thing! As I'm new I have absolutely no idea who is in the same situation unless I read their first post ( and I have given up on going back and catching up on the pages I have missed as I'm so behind today! )

Ok I'm turning the lappy off and going to get myself into gear.. Think I will 2 lots of HHC (which will include a trip to Asda!)

After my 2nd HHC my list now looks like this

Morning Dailies
Afternoon

Tuesday Terrors- Living Room, Hall and Stairs
Level 1
[strike]Vacuum floors and sofas [/strike][strike]
Level 2
Dusting, even if around everything
Remove clutter making sure stairs especially are safe
Clean TV, other electricals and cabinets
[/strike]HHI
Level 3
[strike]Wipe and water plants[/strike][strike]
[/strike]Put all your hotspots in one pile and work your way through it..
[strike]Vacuum under furniture you can manage to move without hurting yourself[/strike][strike]
[/strike]Extra Mission: Pick one or more of the following tasks –
Clean windows & any other glass like mirrors, pictures etc
Wipe down any paintwork that needs it.
Binbag dance.. Get a binbag.. fill it and bin it!!!
Wash any cushions, throws or curtains that need it
Wednesday Whoopees!!- Bathroom and Study/Pc Area
Level One
Clean floors in these rooms
Level Two
Clean baths, toilets, don't forget the outside! and sinks.. shine the taps with a toothbrush
Clear any clutter from desk
Dust PC and desk and wipe off those cup rings!!
Wipe keyboard, house phone, sockets, switches and mouse etc
Level Three
Wash your bathroom mats, nets, clean blind/curtains etc
Wipe down tiles in bathroom.. defragment your pc while doing this.
Empty and clean out all the upstairs bins!
Clean shower screen/curtain if you have one/if required
[strike]Collect all the dirty laundry [/strike][strike]
[/strike]Extra mission: Take your pick!

1. Wipe the skirtings, door and window frames in these rooms
2. Fling all those empty bottles and tubes
3. replace any sponges, flannels, toiletries that need it
4. Clean the fluff from the fires so they are nice and clean for using.. have those services been arranged on boilers and fires yet??

Sort through stuff left over from carboot - ebay/charity/loft for next yr carboot have cleared table just the floor to go now
Sort Ds2's toys

Wrap & post parcel x 3


I have also

Took down all dirty dishes from bedrooms
Emptied bins
Collected kindling
Laid the fire
Damp dusted the fireplace
Put coats & bags away
Put yesterdays shopping away ( coat, hat & vests for Ds2 )
Gave my flowers fresh water and took off dead leaves.

I'm off to cook tea i will catch up with you all later.

Hi Natty:hello: Soo about the peggies? Do you match pegs with clothing colour then? Or just group colours of pegs together? I'm really sorry to say that I do neither, clearly not a natural born peggie

I only popped into this thread back in March time I think it was, as I saw fly in the title and thought of a holiday and flights~~ andI am still here

BUT

I do have a cleaner / tidy house, Ok I know I don't have any children, so I don't have to worry about homework, packed lunches, uniforms etc etc and to be honest I really don't know how some of you manage, my hat is off to you all.

Right off to inspect the workshop at work, it seems the yard man says he has cleaned it up!! we shall see!!
