Roast dinner cooked, eaten, washed up and put away.

Wiped the hob and inside the oven and wiped down the sides.

Really full now but it was yummy!

This is what's left of my list this week - but it's not going to get done now :o Still, it's shorter than usual and I have completely done 3 days worth of lists :D The living room is still a mess but my bedroom, bathroom and kitchen and cleaner and tidier than they've been in years :D

Got to get stuff done for school now - the laminator is laminating symbols as I type, and I have to write up a performance management form, 3 IEPs, a risk assessment and a letter to parents about out trip on Thursday! Apart from that, nothing else HAS to be done

    Level 2
    Dusting, even if around everything
Clean TV, other electricals and cabinets
    Level 3
Put all your hotspots in one pile and work your way through it..
Extra Mission: Pick one or more of the following tasks –

    1. Clean windows & any other glass like mirrors, pictures etc
    2. Wipe down any paintwork that needs it.

Friday Finale- those frightening kids rooms and spare rooms
    Level One
Make an appointment for some ME-time.. hairdressers? manicure? night out with friends? .. whatever just do it!
    Level Three
    Clean 2 windows

  • Well I'm amazed at what I've achieved despite minding an extra child all day. All that's left is...

    13. Open a bottle of vino. watch trashy TV, and spend time with hubby when he gets home later in the evening - seems ages since we've done this - well overdue...

    extras
    wiped down kitchen
    polished dining room table
    researched gnocchi recipies
    changed beds & washed bedding

    Moam
Although no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.... life is a WIP.

    Measure twice - cut once!

Just don't tell anyone and they'll never know the difference.

I take it you do patchwork? When (if) I get the hang of it I can see everything in the house being patchworked :rotfl:.

All my fishies are dying:( We had an algae bloom and the treatment appears to have done them in. We have very soft water and the treatment warned this may happen. Grr, they were so pretty, lovely gouramis and a BIG red tail shark.

I'd always wanted a fish tank, and we had a fish tank for a couple of years after a neighbour gave us his (which he had never looked after). Despite regularly doing water changes and checking nitrates levels etc we got lots of casualties. Then the heater seemed to pack up so I took the fish to school (they have a large tank) and gave up on the tank completely. Most of the ones we took to school have died too. We had a couple of honey gouramis and a red tail shark too. I don't think I'll bother again
