Grrr, my post just went somewhere into the ether...

I am bored sitting here and the bedroom won't do itself (neither will the lasagne make itself!)

    HHC anyone 4.15-4.45pm?

I'll join you and try to make the garage look like I've made an effort :D

I just got something about a socket failure when I tried to come on here.....trust me to have a socket failure :D

Anyway, went round local shops with DD2 when she got back from her course and got a nice thick jacket for DH and a bottle of wine for SiL for Christmas and some mouthwash for........us.

    Just started roast potatoes now.
  • Thanks for the tips ladies - I'm sure their is a Sally Bin somewhere near here I'll google it.

Sorry another question: any tips for selling books on amazon - I guess I need to register to sell - is it better than selling books one bay?
I agree with pigpen, dusty you have to watch if its worthwhile with amazon - there's also green metropolis - they pay £3 per book sold - they charge £3.75 for all their books and no P&P and they give 5p to the woodland trust fro evry book sold. http://www.greenmetropolis.com/

greenbee- i have several boxes of ebay stuff that belong to me and a friend(a nice one!!) and I have several boxes of stuff that have to go back to their owner but she has moved and Now its difficult for me to do it but I am trying to figure out a way to do it as I work!
And none of them will be going back in the bedroom!!!!!!!!!!! There's not enough room in the shed for any of them and they would prob get damp so its gong to have to be huge ebay listings to clear it and get somemoney too!!!
    toots xx
    Peace will be mine
could do better - must try harder

I can't believe how much stuff I have in the garage! I obviously don't need any of it, as its been there since Easter (or possibly longer :o ). I've rescued a vast number of cake tins, so will drop Polka a note with the details, but if anyone needs ANYTHING over the next few weeks, don't buy it until you've checked whether I've got spares... examples include:

Liqueur, wine & shot glasses (and I think there are some tumblers too); mugs (not ones I want in the house, but they might do someone for a caravan - which is where the came from or work); cutlery, serving dishes & spoons, salad servers, bread tins, bits of pottery (some chipped, but some not), two sets of green kitchen scales, vases, lamp bases and a VAST bag full of plastic plant pots etc.

I can drop off anywhere between Newbury & Windsor any day... and anywhere between Newbury & Leeds in mid-November!

Anyway, I didn't sort through ALL the boxes (two more to do), but I did manage to locate and move them so it looks tidier, and have swept the floor and the back of the spare freezer.

Off to tidy the kitchen in preparation for a bit of baking... maybe I could use all those rescued cake tins and fill the spare freezer!
