Morning everyone,
Managed a lovely lie in this morning and hubby woke me up to scramble eggs and toast. Thanks for all the hugs, all in all it was a brillant night but i just hate arguments and people who are drunk.
Anyway plan today is to tackle the bedrooms, i won't do a list but just update what i have done.
Can't believe it's only 66 days till christmas must go and get all the birthday pressies tomorrow and get it out of the way.
Right better go and get a cuppa then make a start.
Lil_me enjoy your day.
Denize big hugs.
Pigpen, hope they realise that your working your butt off and that they really need to start helping. Your not superwoman (ok maybe you are but they don't need to know that:rotfl: ).Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough. And things go wrong no matter what I do.Now and then it seems that life is just too much. But you've got the love I need to see me through.:j :j0 -
And is it just me or does everyone get shirty when family ask what I want to do at uni? I just feel like it is none of their business I don't care if they are just 'interested' it is my business and I want to keep it that way.. yet I don't mind tellign anyone else.. I feel like family will judge me on everything I do (no big surprise if they did) and they will make nasty comments (for a change) and try to undermine me (again)..
They may be genuinely 'interested', but if some of them have a track record of being less than supportive can well understand why you feel that way.
The great thing about this forum is that peeps will support even if it is something they would never think of doing themselves.0 -

All my fishies are dying:( We had an algae bloom and the treatment appears to have done them in. We have very soft water and the treatment warned this may happen. Grr, they were so pretty, lovely gouramis and a BIG red tail shark.
Hope you feel better soon, and sorry to hear about the fish - I love gouramis... they're quite cute...LBM April 2013 - £29,000.00Vanquis CC's PAID - Debenhams SC PAID - A+L OD PAID - Asda CC £783.75Barclaycard CC £1400.78 - BoS CC PAID - Freemans Cat PAIDF/D Loan & CC £1458.96 - Santander Loan PAID - Mum Loan PAIDRBS OD PAID - F/D OD £1026.52Weekly Grocery Challenge - £95.00 budget / spend £-0 -

I also want to take advantage of the free listing day today on ebay and get rid of the last of toxic's stuff and some of my own - found loads yesterday when I started on the bedroom!!!!
toots xx
Toots, that sounds like a wonderful idea, and you are taking your own advice - babysteps... I know how it gets you down, but like you often say, it didn't get like it overnight, and I think you will make great headway if you do it that way instead... good luck to you! :T :T :T
Oh, and thanks for reminding me about the free listings - I need to put some stuff on there I think...LBM April 2013 - £29,000.00Vanquis CC's PAID - Debenhams SC PAID - A+L OD PAID - Asda CC £783.75Barclaycard CC £1400.78 - BoS CC PAID - Freemans Cat PAIDF/D Loan & CC £1458.96 - Santander Loan PAID - Mum Loan PAIDRBS OD PAID - F/D OD £1026.52Weekly Grocery Challenge - £95.00 budget / spend £-0 -
The threat of me moving into halls might be enough to stir them up lol.. ta..
Ha ha, It would scare the hell out of my lot - maybe you could get the forms and just 'leave' them filled in,... laying about,... for someone to spot,... accidently,... on purpose,... without discussing it with them,... then it's not a threat and they might believe it more... (mine always think I'm just saying stuff to get them to do something... which I usually am but secretly really want to do it!)
I've had a chat with hubby today and with DS - seems to be working at the moment, but it's only been a couple of hours so we'll see... I've made a list for DS of all the things he has to do daily - school or holidays - and have put it up in his bedroom - that way he can't say 'but you never told me to do that' coz he knows... He's not allowed out or on the computer now until he's done them all... and I WILL be tough on this, coz I'm fed up of nagging...LBM April 2013 - £29,000.00Vanquis CC's PAID - Debenhams SC PAID - A+L OD PAID - Asda CC £783.75Barclaycard CC £1400.78 - BoS CC PAID - Freemans Cat PAIDF/D Loan & CC £1458.96 - Santander Loan PAID - Mum Loan PAIDRBS OD PAID - F/D OD £1026.52Weekly Grocery Challenge - £95.00 budget / spend £-0 -
Finally feeling human again after two days lying in bed being sick everytime I moved, that'll teach me for using up leftovers from the fridge thinking they will be okay when really they should have gone in the bin...............
Not had a chance yet to catch up on here so hope all well, I will start again tomorrow the only things i am doing today is dinner, a small drop of ironing and an hour of studying.
the kids are off this week on there hols but I am back to work tomorrow (the council i work have have different school hols from what the girls get) so OH is in charge so i think i may print off the list and leave it lying for them to tackle;)0 -

Well I'm bathed, and still felt pooped so I put some make-up on, one of my "work" tops and semi-styled my hair (it needs cutting so it's not easy to style  ) and feel better - its either that or the fact I've just blasted Rock DJ at almost top-notch on my stereo and sang along just as loudly :rotfl::rotfl:
Wash load...erm.... 4() in, and now to study!!!!
:wave:Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -
Afternoon all
One load of washing today, it's quite breezy and some of it has dried already and been put away. Quite chilly too though.
Went out for a walk this morning with DD1 and then we had a wander round a garden centre. Managed to come home without spending any money at all. We peered round the entrance to the cafe and then decided we could have a cup of coffee at home for nothing so we went back to her house and had coffee and biscuits and shared them with her dog
DH has watched Grand Prix and is now watching motor GP that he taped early this morning. I'm cooking later today because DD2 is on a course.
Hope you're having a good day lil-me
Well done on the win Dusty (I meant to say this before!)0
