Hello all
I've been rather absent this week and I'm afraid I can't face catching up on about 40 pages since my last post! Hope everyone has had a good week and thoughts, smiles and hugs to those in need.
For once I did some flying in the week this week so there's not so much to do this weekend, a good thing as I've had my dad visiting. He's gone now so I want to get on with all the last bits today. WM currently on with 3rd load of the weekend, I changed the bed & S&S the bathroom yesterday so need to do rest of bedroom list and a bit of general tidying! DH is studying and is doing a mock exam so I don't want to make noise til after lunch when i'll be up for a HHC or 2!

Well, GP watched (don't worry, I won't give the result) and now I need to get on - hubby is now tired after getting up early so is going back to bed  - think I might start vacumming and singing loudly to the radio!!!
Not got a list as such, just going to work through each room and make sure clean and tidy - the kitchen and lounge only need tidying and a quick S&S coz I did them at beginning of the week, but the bathroom needs a good clean as does the downstairs loo, so here is what I am doing:- Sort out the washing and get a load on
- [strike]quick 10 mins in my bedroom before hubby falls asleep...[/strike]
- [strike]get dressed...[/strike]:o
- tidy front room and kitchen
- S&S both
- vacuum downstairs and mop floors
- tidy my office
- put all washing away
- VACUUM OUT MY CAR AND WASH THE COFFEE STAIN OUT OF THE FRONT SEAT!!! (it is disgusting and I can't send it to the repairers like that...:o )
- Clean the bathroom thoroughly
- Clean the downstairs loo
- Go shopping for lunch stuff and F&V
- bake some stuff for lunches in week
- read minutes of last meeting and add notes to check for thursday
- Get DS to do his room!!!!!!!!
- Enter all invoices onto spreadsheet to take back with me tomorrow
- make a tablecloth for house tomorrow
- while machine out, fix DS's trousers, my dress and a couple of other bits
- If time ??? make blinds for kitchen... (straightforward squares fixed to a batton that roll and tie up rather than roman blinds, as I don't have the rods)

I know, falls on deaf ears, how/why do they manage to live with it like it??? I have had a word with hubby this morning - told him I've only been at work for 3 days and the house has turned into a tip again - his reply, Oh, I thought it looked quite clean!... Yea, coz of all the work I've been putting in when I've been at home and should have been working on my business - it's only mess everywhere making it look a tip - theirs!!!
Anyway, he's agreed to make an effort, clear up after himself, etc - but bet it will mainly be nag/bribe DS into doing it all for him - whatever gets it done works for me... we'll see how long it lasts...LBM April 2013 - £29,000.00Vanquis CC's PAID - Debenhams SC PAID - A+L OD PAID - Asda CC £783.75Barclaycard CC £1400.78 - BoS CC PAID - Freemans Cat PAIDF/D Loan & CC £1458.96 - Santander Loan PAID - Mum Loan PAIDRBS OD PAID - F/D OD £1026.52Weekly Grocery Challenge - £95.00 budget / spend £-0 -
Well I think I've just broken the record for bathing, nitcombing, dressing & drying DD :rotfl::rotfl: It took me 45 minutes all in and she was ready for ex arriving. However I'm a different matter. I'm still in my PJs, lyclear all over my hair, and I was putting a second load of washing in the machine. Off for a bath for me now, then I have the joy of trying to nitcomb my hair, thank goodness its short! Think I might do it down here and try to study at the same time...
Will see how I feel when I get out the bath (if I don't fall asleep in it)
