  • Morning All :hello:

Had a fab night with lovely mate, wine, chinese and chat! Marvellous! Didn't crawl out of my pit till 10.30! :j DH was up at 6.30/7.00/and finally gave up at 7.30!!

Well, I really liked pigpen's list shortening ideas, but I like that it'll all come round again tomorrow!!

We all cracked on yesterday, so as long as the floors get done next week, it won't be so bad!

    Today's List
Curl up with children watching a movie.
    Cuddle all three girls lots.

    Morning(just):D

Still feeling rotten:o I'm getting to suffer in peace though as DH and LO are not back til tonight.
My mum and dad have invited me round for dinner so i dont even need to cook:D
Do need to do a food shop though, just going to have a bath then will brave Mr S.
All my fishies are dying:( We had an algae bloom and the treatment appears to have done them in. We have very soft water and the treatment warned this may happen. Grr, they were so pretty, lovely gouramis and a BIG red tail shark.

Just had a text from a friend who works on the railways moaning about something which reminded me I needed to renew my railcard - just done it using a code on here and saved £6 :D:money::money: Now I'll swap the washing over and go and have that bath.... :o:o:o

  • Morning everyone

lil_me - hope you have a good day and dont get too wet!!
vanilla - sounds like you had a great time and nice you had time with your Dad and OH - hope things have brightened up this morning for you (((hug)))
valli yes thats the shortened version (lay the carpet) but in good fllylady fashion I have broken it down into small chunks!!!!!!!!!
DenizeNZ first of all have a huge hug honey for feeling down - we have all been there and as the others have said its probably too much of the 'medicinal puposes' falling down juice hasnt had the desired effect!!!!!! take it slowly - DO NOT TRY to catch up all at once you will just be in a worse state than ever - a bit at a time - do your dailies and an extra job and you will soon get there - and rope in those teenagers - I am sure they could help when you are working such long hours to provide for their future!! We are always here to listen.....
pigpen even without your college work you have a huge workload - yes I agree a list of jobs would be a good idea graded by age/ability as someone else mentioned (sorry I cant remember who it wa now) - it doesnt have to be huge jobs but it would be 9 less things for you to do on a daily/weekly basis - even if it was just picking up their own stuff from the downstairs rooms - I remember you saying you had a chat with them before college and i honestly thought you had it sorted - I think you should schedule a MONTHLY family meeting until such time as they start to pull their weight a bit more - and no excuses they have to be at it or they will get more work assigned?

I would be so pee'd off too with all of them if I was the only one working - its not fair and you support them in all their things so its time they supported you - and like you said you begin to resent( maybe a bit harse but you know what i mean) hubby for being lazy too. read the riot act and let them know you are not happy and you mean business.
As for not telling the family - I am just the same -its my business that I am studying my ECDL - not theirs and they make me feel as if I am an idiot for not having done it before and belittling what it is (my bro is a doctor of physics, a teacher and an actuary) and so I dont say anything and then I am accused of being secretive!!! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!

soory pigpen didnt mean to ramble on at you so much but I can really understand what you are saying - anyway huge hugs and take a deep breath and sort them out - you have a life too!!

    toots xx
    Peace will be mine

that is why the weekend list is optional and just has extra tasks. The whole point in the list is that is creates more time at the weekend to do stuff like this.. but some people asked for a weekend list so we make it optional... there are often family fun things to do in there.
