Having seen the threads in various places about welcoming n00bs and clique-y places I'd just like to add (as a relative newbie myself) that I've found the whole of this place extremely helpful and welcoming. No-one seems to mind you barging into their thread (Thanks, Piggers!) and if you ask for help you'll be inundated with suggestions :D

Has someone been cross about our lovely hand-stitched, home-made thread?? Or called us a clique???? How funny!!!! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: I always miss all the drama on other threads, cos my head's always stuck in this one!!!!

I think we all mean to say hi, and very often we all do. Sometimes we offer advice, and sometimes we're all in and out, but there's usually someone who'll explain the ropes and welcome a newbie.... no? ;)

Right, MtWashmore has been conquered again for this week, clothes all folded and re-distributed, (hung some of DD3's up for her cos she struggles still.) And while I was in there I made a start on the bedroom.
Had a smile to myself when I went back into the kitchen and saw how lovely it is!

House still needs a good kicking to get back into shape, but it's getting there. .............

     For Goodness Sake...... it's almost school run time! I haven't even had a coffee.......... BAH:mad:

Ah well, crack on I guess!!!!

I just had a thought.. I don't have many.. would it be 'nice' to include in the first post a list of new flyers each week??

So they get some kind of recognition and an official welcome.. the OS chat debate made me think there might be some who see us as a 'clique' and I hate to think of us like that.. I want everyone to come in and share our success and know the pleasure we know..

Oh goodness.. I am turning fluffy like a mule!!

I tried to do this a couple of years ago and felt as though it was an exclusive club. I soon gave up.
But this time it has been fabulous. You have all been very welcoming. Thank you so much.
Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Fool me three times and I'll smash your face in. :D

I was just trying to say thanks to everyone for NOT being cliquey...:T

    Aaah I've done it again, it's 3.30pm and I still haven't got dressed/showered..oh phooey!!

Haven't even got anything out for dinner tonight either, so it looks like it might be a trip to Asda's while I drop my prescription off as soon as I am dressed.

I have done about four loads of washing though and they are all nicely pegged on my airier, with matching pegs..:D Have I mentioned how much I love this continental airer - I have my towels pegged on the higher rung and they are hanging down
straight and not touching anything.. :)

Well done to all those that have been happily flying today, unlike me..lol

I'm new, and you don't seem cliquey.....I just find it hard to keep up with the threads especially since I don't know you all.
