Trying for a baby (12+ M/not straightforward)

I'm going to have to pay for another blood test next week. Really, as if we didn't have to pay enough just to get pregnant :rolleyes: The levels are meant to double in upto 72 hours, but mine are quadrupling in 48. If they slow down and start doubling normally then there's a chance it could be ok, but if they slow down that much it would end in m/c anyway. So i've got 4 days to wait before i find out! If the result's still really bad i'll take a copy to the NHS unit and push for a free scan in 2 weeks. They can't diagnose it for sure until there should be a clear heart beat. I'm just so anxious right now not knowing, can't bare the wait

Myaccount, im praying that everything will be fine for you. I don't really know what to say apart from that i'm thinking of you and hope everything turns out ok. I wont say try not to worry because i know that's easier said than done. . take care.

Good grief! It appalls me that you've had to do this because otherwise you get pushed to the back of the NHS queue.It just doesn't seem right. :mad:

I know you probably can't really but do try to relax, or at least see if you can find something to take your mind off it a bit for a while.

Thank you so much ladies. I started cramping badly about an hour ago with random sharp pains too. DH wouldn't come home from work and i've sat here crying not knowing what is happening inside my own body. I'm panicking thinking about another loss, don't really know what to do with myself right now its been a long day...

I'm sorry we're all having such a tough time with things ((hugs))

I cant tell you how much your support means to me I had an arguement with my parents earlier and can't tell any of my friends yet. After so many losses they all expected me to give up, it's clear no one agrees/approves of us trying again. It's hard to get through IF and m/c when no one understands. I know i'm hormonal right now, but ever since the positive test i cant stop thinking about the angels we lost. I miss them so much Now i'm laying here in pain and it feels like its happening all over again. DH finally came home.... but he went straight through and put the telly on. I was lying in bed crying and all i could hear is the bl00dy telly blaring and him rustling away at food packets. He didn't even bother to check on me. I was so annoyed i went and switched it off, he just got up and walked out the house. Left me here in pain and scared. Jeez all they have to do is donate the "goods", if only he had any idea how i'm feeling right now :mad: :rolleyes: It's times like this i wonder how any couple manages to get through IF, and why on earth it has to be so hard when it comes so easy to other women

I don't post on your board normally but wanted to pop by and give all of you lots of hugs.

I've now finished my journey of having babies. I've had eight pregnancies and lost five at various stages. I always felt driven on to try again and was put on low dose aspirin to sustain pregnancies. I was meant to take Heparin as well but could not face the injections.

In November I had a very early missed miscarriage and that was the final straw for me. I could not go through another pregnancy All those years of being pregnant and worrying at each symptom or lack of and then losing - something that appeared so easy to other people and I couldn't even manage it.

I am reading your messages and I completely understand how you are feeling. I just hope that you all reach what you after but also have the strength to accept that what we are given may not be what we want.

myaccount....I really feel for you, I really don't know what to say to lessen the pain you are feeling emotionally right now.

Please do keep coming back to this thread and posting your feelings and rant as much as you like.....hammer at the keyboard if it helps!! Don't bottle it up, let it out.
