Bunnie1982, do you have any backache? It may be a kidney infection, or water works. Best bet is to check it out - if you get an appointment take a wee sample with you , they check it straight away now. Hope it is something simple

Somnium - glad it all went well, hope the 2ww goes quickly.

Oh Angela I'm so sorry, that's such bad luck (((HUGS))) to you & your fella. And thanks for your kind words. You are right this is such a stressful thing. The nurse doing the ECG said she doesn't know how people can manage a 'normal life' whilst going through the treatment, with all the appts etc!

Somnium, well done on successful ET & best of luck for the 2WW.

Thanks Lilo - trying to stay calm, but it feels like trying to hold back the tide at the moment! Had a good cry at the councillor's yesterday, and a scary conversation about what we'll do if it doesn't work. This has been in my thoughts lately after meeting Caroline Gallup (auth Making babies the hard way) last week, but I can't get my head around it at the moment. We've spent so much time, energy (and money of course!) trying to make the 'baby thing' happen, that I can't visualise a world in which we're not either doing this, or having our baby... anty thing else just 'does not compute' ATM.

Good luck Bunnie - hope the Dr can help with some answers for you.

I'm back at 12.00 for scan #4 and hopefully the results of the ECG, which TBH is more worrying me now...

I hope all goes well, FE!

Well, the consultant replied to me saying that my blood results are normal, so that is good news. I was hoping to have laparoscopy before I go on holiday, but with his secretary being on holiday, I don't expect it will happen. It is a bit frustrating, but nothing I can do about it. Was hoping to continue ttc when we are away, but it looks like we will have to wait till mid/end of July!

The doctor had no real answers about what's causing the pain, it didn't help that the results of the internal ultrasound hadn't been sent across to the doctors and hadn't been recorded on the system. He says he didn't think that the cyst had ruptered and it wasn't a water infection, so has just advised me to take paracetemol and to go back again in 2 weeks if no better.

I really hate it when all they offer is "paracetamol/ibuprofen and come back in 2 weeks if no better!"

I had a doctor once, that when I told that ibuprofen doesn't help, he suggested to take 2. I said I already take 2, so he said he can't help me!!!!!

Welcome back Toniq! When is your scan Hun?

Bunnie - how frustrating GP's can be - I absolutely HATE it when they try to fob you off! They just don't seem to understand how difficuly this whole TTC thing is for us, and that anything else unexpected is a big deal for us, and we need answers! I'd be tempted to wait a couple of days and then go back and try and see a different Dr (I know it is naughty, but maybe you can 'exaggerate' the symptoms a bit and say they have got worse?).

Ginvzt - a shame you can't get it done before your hols, but al least you can have some R&R and get yourself prepared to get on with stuff when you get back.

Hopefully we are back on track now! Follies have progressed and are now 24, 19, 18, 18 & 17, plus a couple smaller ones. ECG results were deemed as 'OK to proceed' - so I guess that means I am not about to drop down any minute! Amazing how much clamer I feel now that things are moving on!
Waiting for the call now to tell me if EC will be Mon or Tues. Hoping for Tues really, even though that means popping back to get yet more stimming meds on Sat (and yet more £££££ of course). Work-wise it's better for me to be in on Mondays as it is the busiest day, and if we get to blasto it will mean a xfer Sunday, so I could still do the sponsored walk on Sat!

    Have a good w/e everyone!

Hugs, kisses and all good things to everyone. Welcome back toniq, hope you are ok, and bearing up. Good luck with the scan

Bunnie1982, so frustrating, but at least you know its nothing to worry about. If it gets any worse, make sure you go back and get it rechecked just in case.

Ginvzt glad you got good blood results.

FE, glad things are on track and your head is in a better place! Good luck for when you get the go ahead - Hope you get to do the walk! In view of my experiences this year, I am doing the race for life in the middle of July - against advice I have to say, but I have promised to walk slowly, and pull out if it gets too much. I just feel I have to give something back though, and research into cancer is so important.

Hope everyone has a good weekend - and forgive any spelling mistakes, I am wearing acrilic nails and I cant type in them!
