Good luck to all those injecting and undergoing procedures. I'm injecting too, though this is clexane to keep my blood thin. Not sure if it applies to you, but I found a good tip is to leave the needle in a few moments after you've injected, and then press down on the site (not rub) for 30 seconds afterwards. My bruises are gone now, I just get a small red mark that goes in a couple of days.
Best of luck to all needing it,

Hi Folks
Just got back from a fabulous 2 weeks in Florida. Been on all the rides in Disney (including the kiddie ones). Just also caught up with the posts. Good luck to all the ivf ladies. It all seems so overwhelming.
Wanted to carry on ttc while away but went and set the bl**dy clearblue monitor testing time wrong, as I got the time difference between here and America around the wrong way. Subsequently set it for 11pm which was totally useless. Now have to reset it next month as I made it worse trying to fix my mistake. What a goon! Got in such a mess I forgot what day number it had been displaying so gave up trying while we were away.
Had my day 21 bloods yesterday. Picked up the form which the dr had written over a month ago and it said on it "day 21 progesterone (14 days before end of period)". Well it couldn't be both could it? So I went anyway based on 21 days, or 7 days before end of period being actually my day 24. The blood nurse said it didn't make any sense either and that the doctor hadn't actually filled in the form correctly anyway. There was some question over whether thay would actually do the test or not but they did it in the end.
Had to laugh...I was in such a state as they have changed the carpark around at the hospital. I first tried to park where I normally do but it's now staff parking so I had to come all the way out of the hospital and then back in again. When I took the ticket on entry to a different carpark I didn't grasp it properly and it fell on the floor. Problem was, I was so close to the machine so that I would be able to reach that I couldn't open the door, and there was a queue behind me so I couldn't reverse. I had to clamber across and out of the passenger door then scrabble in a tiny space on the floor to get the ticket. I got home and told DH and he said 'why didn't you just drive through, pull up and go back and get the ticket?'. Couldn't think of an answer to such a clearly sane suggestion!:rotfl:0 -

OMG, don't you hate men when they say things like that and they're so RIGHT! I'd totally have done what you did and got really stressed about it too. Our brains are just so different to theirs.0 -
Will be thinking of you tomorrow nottslass - hope it all goes well, and you get some lovely ripe eggies!

Just to let any of you know who is thinking about buying one. On the other thread a deal has been posted that Tesco are doing the CBFM for just under £25 and the boxes of sticks are priced at just under £5 but scanned for under £2
That's a fantastic price as usually the monitor is £65+ and the sticks are £15+.

Please don't shoot the messenger if this deal isn't at your local store or is a different price or just not available. :rotfl:

Hi all, yes it was me posting about the ClearBlue monitor deal in Tesco Pharmacy. I picked it up today - the machine was under £25 (and was priced so on the shelf) and the box of sticks were priced at £4.97 but scanned and £1.20 or so!
I appreciate that they might be hard to find, but definitely worth a look if you are near a Tesco with a pharmacy. I bought the last one in my local store, but thought it worth mentioning as it was such a bargain!0 -
Sometimes they aren't in the pharmacy, when i called my tesco earlier she said all pregancy stuff is in the shop
So ask them to have a look for you hehe xx0 -

somnium,Hope everything is going OK for you - remember everyone is different and everybody reacts differently to treatment. My first cycle was a breeze !!! unfortunately this time I felt that I reacted to the drugs more.
