I've got an appointment at the early bleed clinic tomorrow morning... Some old blood and a blood clot came out last night as I was going to bed... :(

Oh Krystaltips I am thinking of you.

Nothing much since..., The midwife was really blasé about the whole thing and told me to call the Dr, Dr got annoyed with the midwife and said she should of reffered me to the hospital and they organised the appointment for me.... She was saying it could of been my cervix changing, but wasn't sure because of the clot...
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Oh i am really sorry to hear that the MW wasn't up to much in those circumstances. Especially when you would be worried. No wonder your doc wasn't happy.

I know you will spend the day worrying, but are you at least able to put your feet up today and rest?
  • krystal - remind me how far gone you are - I can't see you on the list (and to be fair, even if I could it would take me an hour to work out how many weeks you are!)

Would it be around the time that you would be due a period (I am POSITIVE that my body still has a monthly cycle of hormones etc)

Generally though the midwives are the better trained in all this stuff. And docs tend to react to everything in pregnancy 'just to be sure' so they could just be taking precautions.

Are you taking it easy today?

I'm hoping we're having a boy as girls in Dhs family are MASSIVE! We're talking 11lbs and even one at 12!!! I am NOT looking forward to that!!!
Either that or I hope they take from my side of the family... we're more "normal" sized :)
If there is ANY indication of a double figure baby though I'm so going to be trying to convince DH that a sunroof is a GOOD plan much as I really really really don't want one!

Am 11+2 today. I did promise DD we could go swimming today but am trying to convince her Friday would be a better day... Mostly just sitting around in my pyjamas now...

  • Mostly sitting around in pj's is good!

11+2 means the risks of it being a problem are seriously reduced...you never know, you could actually be 12 weeks pregnant already. But you don't need me to tell you that.

Try not to worry. Take it easy and bribe DD with all her favourite TV programmes and snacks!
