I'm greatful our scan unit accepts donations although there is a "suggested" donation amount. We're fortunate in that we can afford it but it's nice to know the facility is there for those who can't and they can just pay what they can.

Same with mine MrsTine, a donation of £3-£5 per picture is recommended. I left in such a tizzy I forgot to put anything in, so must remember to at the 20 week scan! One thing there though, if you don't ask for pictures, they don't give them to you!

Anyone got any experience with NCT courses? I've registered interest in a few, but they are all fully booked! Is there anything similar? I'm quite isolated and want to meet lots of Mums with similar age babies. Plus I'm a bit clueless so want to learn all I can!

I'm jealous of all these who have snow! Its cold here, but doesn't seem likely we'll get any soon. Only problem with living down south!

(The NCT courses I looked at were for April babies and are full. If you are interested, look on the website soonish, so you can register for a place http://www.nct.org.uk/in-your-area/course-finder)

We got well and truly rained on coming back from the midwife today... Then it started snowing when we got in! Midwife was a star, managed to get blood out first try which is never easy with me...

And Ikklebeans, congratulations!!! I really hope that an ETD is the only thing we have in common... Twins is my nightmare.... And they run in the family... 2 weeks until my scan, I'm soooo jealous!!!
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

  • Congratulations, Icklebeans!!! :j

jtotheb, a Daddy, was part of the thread last year and his wife gave birth to twin boys just a few days before Poppy :). I can't remember any other twinies since then :D.

My Dad is a twin and Poppy is his first grandchild but his twin has around 15 grandchildren and even great grandchildren but not single one a twin! All eyes have been on me when I've announced my pregs :rotfl:.

    xxx

    PS: No snow here.....yet!
