  • Congrats Bargin - how gorgeous!

Well, went to see mum and dad, my bro and my grandma last night to tell them the twin news - all shocked and all pleased! Then phoned round two of my closest friends - one of which is a lady in her 50's who is the mother of twins, so I have a good person to chat to!

Nicole - the ultrasound lady wans't sure if it was identical or not as she said identical ones aren't necessarily in the same sack - went a bit over my head due to shock so will have to read up on it.

Well, a sleep has not eased the shock, still damned surprised at the twin news but elated.
Proud mother of twin boys - double the trouble and twice the pleasure! :T

I'm off to my parents for the night which will be great - relaxing and being cooked for - what bliss!!!!

It's so cold I dug out my winter coat and was pleasantly surprised to find that as it's a swing style it fits over the bump beautifully. I am so pleased as that's some more money saved :D

    morning all,

still suffering with a sore back since the weekend. admittedly it could be my bed as it is not the best in the world, but i am thinking it has something to do with bubs. it feels at times that bubs is laying quite low (if that makes sense at 20 weeks or i could be talking rubbish??) and maybe that's why i'm feeling pressure on my back.

I was going to bring one of those quishy roll pillows into work to put against my back but i forgot!!!
  • Bargain - congratulations - Charlie is just gorgeous!

Looking forward ( ) to hearing your birthing story...my my he is big (does anybody else worry when they see the size of the baby...knowing where it has to come from???!!! Did you have any idea he was going to be that size bargain?

AF - it was very lovely of MIL to come and iron for me (I haven't really done a big load of ironing since we came back from Vegas and I can't even wear half of the stuff now!) but because she has pee'd me off I am feeling a little ungrateful at the moment :o

I do know what you mean about peeing you off :D

Are you still looking at dresses for your Ball? I walk past a Monsoon every morning and their window has some lovely dresses in there, and i know there was one in particular that gathered under the bust and then flared out (it was aubergine in colour - not sure if that's your thing, but i am not sure what else is in the shop)

I do worry about the size of bubs sometimes, but a friend of mine who is very tall, slim and narrow had her baby who was just on 9lb too i think, so if she can do it, then i am sure i can cause my hips are way more roomy then hers :p
  • Congrats bargain! What a size, bet you are glad he came out the sunroof, it makes my eyes water just thinking what that might have been like otherwise!

MFD - yes it terrifies me even though I've already been through it once. TBH DD was 7lb 9oz and it didn't seem that bad at the time but now I've only 3 and a bit weeks to go, really starting to worry about getting this one out.... don't they say each subsequent baby is bigger and boys are bigger than girls?? (not that it makes much difference seeing as we don't know what flavour we've got!):rotfl:

Sorry icklebeans, this can't be helping you knowing you've got to go through it twice in quick succession! The only good thing is that twins don't always go to full term so you may not have to wait as long as some of us!

I've got an appointment at the early bleed clinic tomorrow morning... Some old blood and a blood clot came out last night as I was going to bed... :(
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

  • rosies mum - you are supposed to be reassuring us first timers not scaring the living daylights out of us!!! I had a 0-3 month romper suit hanging on the back of a chair the other day and the more I looked at it the more I wanted to cry - I had to put it away so I could stop panicking!

AF - I am still looking! Was kind of thinking I could get something floaty that would kind of fit but I am worries because I need it again at the end of Jan when I will be 35 weeks ( ) and at this rate I will be needing a marquee by then! I think proper maternity is the only was to go!

Sparkle :A PM'd me to let me know that the ASOS maternity range is launched on monday so I will be on there first thing!

Oh sweetie - it is likely to just be one of those things. Has there been anything since? ((HUGS))
