Thanks guys.. And MFD, do you know my daughter or what? She's watching tiny pop (which I hate, over advertised!) and all I've heard all morning is 'I'm hungry' lol.
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...

    Is she pregnant too?
Seriously, this morning I have had a nutrigrain bar (in the car on the way to work), a bowl of porridge, 3 satsumas and a pear and I am STARVING! I need to go into town and get some food asap but I have got 2 members of staff off ill and 1 off because it's half term so I am manning the phones!

Make that 2 pears - I ate another whilst typing this!

There is no wonder I am growing so quickly - I am eating for 2 adults!!

never heard of tiny pop but I guess all that will change next year :D

  • Oh my, that's more than I spent on my wedding dress!

Mind you, if you get something which isn't a maternity frock, at least you can wear it again in the future I suppose - makes it less of a crazy amount if you can wear it to all the weddings etc you get invited to for the next 5 years!

  • Bargain - congratulations - Charlie is just gorgeous!

Looking forward ( ) to hearing your birthing story...my my he is big (does anybody else worry when they see the size of the baby...knowing where it has to come from???!!! Did you have any idea he was going to be that size bargain?

We did know he was going to be around this weight.. he weighed 5lb 6oz at a 34 week scan:eek: they said though that big babies are easier to deliver... err I dont know how! I'm only 5' 2" & weighed 9 1/2 stone pre pregnancy. I put on 3 stone & I had a massive bump.

The babies in the next beds to me looked tiny compared to him. There is a plus to having a big baby though, I lost 1 stone since weighing myself last Friday morning! :j:j

Going to go for a shower while the (not so) little man is having a sleep will come back later to post my birth story.

    Love & hugs to all

    Mel x

btw... I TOTALLY recommend breast feeding!! Not the best & not the worst feeling in the world, but as your baby is sucking away you can feel you stomach shrinking!! Weirdest feeling in the world but my bump has nearly gone!
 Mummy to Charlie & 2 beautiful twins due on Valentine's Day
  • ladybird - it is more than I spent on my wedding dress too :rotfl: :rotfl: although having said that it is probably fancier than my wedding dress too!
I didn't marry in white - I got married in a limestone cavern so I had a 50's style dove grey lace number!

How come so many of you have 34 week scans? Am I the only one who won't?

I've got an appointment at the early bleed clinic tomorrow morning... Some old blood and a blood clot came out last night as I was going to bed... :(

    ((Hugs))

Sorry to hear this Krystaltips, I hope your wait isn't too bad.

I had a bit of bleeding at around 12 weeks, and had one small clot. Had two scans since, and baby seems to be fine. I really hope everything will be fine with you and baby.

I bleed on a Wednesday and had to wait till Friday for a scan, and it was very difficult. Try to relax as much as possible. Will be thinking of you xx

LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT :j :j :j

Tell your hubby and you deserve the dress as you are carrying his child and you will look stunning in it.

Also, now is the time to spend the money on something like that becuase when babybug comes along, all the money will go on him :D

Give him my number if need be, i am great at justifying things !!!!!

According to my notes, 'normal' people only have 12 and 20 week scans here. I'm not sure about consultant care people. I'm amazed at the variety in care people recieve.

Have you had any luck finding a cheaper places for the scan and bloods?
