How funny, while I was typing about the visiting, DH asked me about it... He must be psychotic... He thought people would be waiting at the hospital while I was in labour... I said I very much doubt it... How would they know I was in labour if we don't tell them ;)

Has anyone else got dry lips? Mine have been dry a while but are now cracking and ever so sore... One just split right down and started bleeding properly... DH went into a panic rushing round for tissue bless him...

Tell me about it! I've got dry lips, eczema on my hands and a dry nose (but thats from blowing it all the time with this cold) I feel like all I do is rub vaseline all over myself!

my lips are really dry and cracked too but i put it down to the heating being on all the time. but when i wake up my mouth is dry and my teeth are red where gums have been bleeding?? its not nice:(

i have said to OH no one is getting near for the first 24 hours they will get a phonecall and warned in advance we need time to recover. i also dont let everyone come and hold baby as i dont want to start all that. if baby is sleeping she will be in her pram/moses basket and left. thats what we done with Charlie and he knows if he is in his bed it means its time to sleep. there is nothing worse than everyone playing pass the parcel with baby and making them all sore and a nightmare to settle once they have all gone. Sorry have went on a bit eh! lol

  • I'm a bit scared of this going into labour business as I was induced last time so don't really know what to expect!. I'm petrified that my waters will go in public :o or I leave it too late to get to the hospital and can't have all the pain relief I need!. Just fed up today and want him out :rotfl:. I've told him he can arrive any time now as we have put the Christmas tree up! :T.

A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.
