    Morning all,

Elle - Sorry you are feeling like you are. Maybe with your hubby off work for a few days you might feel a bit better, just having him around. I know for me just knowing my hubby is there is a great thing. As for tiding the house, he will probably do it for you. It's difficult isn't it though. I have a very busy and stressful job and hubby works nights, there are so many things i go to moan at him about but pull back becuase i know he works hard and does horrible hours.

Can't help with the boobs though. Sorry. When I used to take my bra off, i couldn't believe how heavy mine felt. Hopefully someone will have some advice for you.

As for feeling sick, I soooo get this. I was constantly feeling sick from about 6 weeks through to 13 weeks. God it used to 'p' me off!!!!! I got sick of saying to hubby 'i feel sick' and i'm pretty sure he got sick of hearing it, but he did say one night that it would do his head in too if he felt sick all the time. The only saving grace for me was the thought that bubs must be comfortable and staying put for me to feel like that.

Luc - OMH 31 weeks!!!!!! EEEEEKKKKKK...... only joking. Hope your midwife appt goes well. Is that the start of the birth plan discussions etc?

Oh and I forgot to say, thanks for the suggestion re scanning the hypnobirthing script. I haven't received my book yet, but if there's nothing similar in there, i might take you up on it if it's okay.

Elle - sorry you're having a bad day today. The morning sickness has just kicked in a bit here but I haven't reached the "oh god i'm so sick of being sick" stage yet - I do, however, remember it well from when pregnant with DD! Hope you're feeling better soon. Try to take some time today to relax and put your feet up. Maybe a nice warm bath? (although to be honest, my m/s has always been worse when I'm warm so that doesn't work for me! :rotfl: )

AF - my hubby works nights too, and I hate asking him to do much extra as he's been working extra hours lately. I know if I asked, he'd help out with whatever I wanted, but he's so tired right now. We're just trying to get through until end of next week, then he'll have the week of Christmas off work. He's pretty great about doing things around the house and with the kids as well, so sometimes I kind of have to say "okay, go sleep - I'll get it done."

Midwife finally called me back this morning. She says antenatal vitamins aren't necessary as long as I'm eating a good diet. Well, let's be honest - I could be better. So I'm going to ask the chemist if there is a good antenatal vitamin that doesn't have iron in it. And I'll keep taking the folic acid, of course. But she did schedule to visit me next Wednesday, so at least that's sorted. And GP visit today.

Well, lots to do today - which I probably won't get done. But at least I can whittle away at the list at least.

Elle don't worry - I think the majority of us have felt/feel like that... DH works longer hours than I do too and the state of the house was getting to us both... so over 2 weekends we addressed 2 of the bedrooms and then I invited the neighbours in for dinner over the weekend and that meant we had to dash round and tidy the living room and now it's livable in again :)
I have sore boobs too but getting a new bra from bravissimo really really helped - they will measure you totally differently to non-pregnancy fittings because you need more room round your rib cage so please don't just stick to the same size bra but not underwired... it DOES make a huge difference!
If you need to take paracetamol then take them... I was ademant I wouldn't take any but thanks to stress and what not I've had to break my rules a little... Back aches, neck aches and head aches... :(
Taking pills... normally I don't have an issue either with taking pills - I hate it but I can do it. But since I started getting sick it definitely sparked throwing up more often than not... so I went through a lot of pregnancy supplements... and I still don't know how much folic acid I managed to consume. If it's any consolation I discussed it with my GP and he said that whilst you should take folic acid through the first trimester then actually the FA already in your system before you concieve is more important to the development of your baby than what you take after... And in fairness all it does is minimally reduce the chances of some issues so don't loose sleep over it. Eat as varied a diet as you can face and I'm sure you'll be ok...
Don't beat yourself up just take one day at a time, it's all you can do.

aww bless you lovely ladies! hubby is almost always ready for action, I have been known to wake him up for it and even when half asleep just me rubbing my leg on his and suddenly he's wide awake and ready to go :rotfl: I'm glad you don't live too close otherwise he might start wandering! he's also comfortable doing it when my bump is big (although I don't like it if bubba moves during coz it makes me feel like we're being watched) he said last time the thing he didn't like was that bump got in the way of a good cuddle bless! it was like trying to hug someone with a beach ball between us! its bad enough with our 12 inch height difference nevermind that lol
LOL sounds like my OH! although there is a 15 inch height difference between us, it's like little and large to the extreme :rotfl:

Tell me about it. Actually since hypnobirthing I don't feel so:eek: anymore just lots of :j :T moments...

Not sure what happens at midwife today other than getting my bump measured and listening to the heartbest (and lets face it that's all I go for anyway). My FH was 28cm last time so I'm intrigued to see how much I've grown in 3 weeks...

More than happy to provide the hypnobirthing script if required, to anyone who is interested;)
