Just had the Downs results back and they state that we're in the lower risk group and estimate risk for Bean at 1:18000 - which I guess is good?
They recommend no further testing... :)

  • Back from 36 week appointment - next one is on Christmas Eve! Then after that we will see what happens :)

All ok, head has engaged now, and baby is nearly the right way round. Just got to wait for things to start moving, but no rush. I was saying to someone yesterday that it will be between 2 and 6 weeks. 6 weeks seems aaaages away, but hopefully it won't come to that - baby will be HUGE by then ;)

  • Any labour vibes being thrown about? All would be gratefully received!

    xx
  • SeptemberBaby - sending you labour vibes...hope they work!
  • Ladybird - glad appt went ok

MrsT - Your not the only one with a nookie ban since BFP, (Dh feels like he's being watched by bubs and doesn't want to hurt them! )

I think my pregnancy hormones are really kicking in now. I just got so irate I nearly cried because my neighbour made a comment to my FIL about me and dh, which normally would just go over my head. And now I feel so stupid, luckily I didn't confront the old biddy straight away like I wanted to. I now realise that she was trying to create gossip where there is none (She is well known in this area for gossiping and interfering - her 3 children all live abroad because of it too  ).
She makes little comments all the time about us being lazy - dh works 10-12 hour days as well as working 4 hours from home on an evening. He's hardly lazy, just tired and stressed because he works hard.

Sorry for the rant, just need to get it off my chest and feel better for it!

ETA: labour vibes for SB coming your way!
    Value of prizes 2010 - 2017: £8374 Wins 2022: Magic set

I'm back! Everything looks normal. Baby is in same position, with head down. She had to tip the bed back to get him to come out so she could check his face. Legs are really, really long still, and its definitely a boy. Estimated weight is 1lb 1oz.
    Stay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.
