    Hi all
I am having a panic - realised if I am 6+5 then I still have to get past my milestone of 7+4 which is when I mc last time. :( Thought I'd got through it already but obviously not. :(
    :(

Well if the MW is the same as last time today then giving my 16 weeks blood could be interesting ;)
Have my appointment today at 13:30 so working from home today :) yay!
So apart from stealing more red stuff what do they do? I am hoping I get to listen to beans heart... :)
I am madly hoping the MW will be the other of the two that we have round here and that I get on better with her...

Oh and do they check any private bits at the 16 week visit? I'm a little paranoid about people seeing me "untrimmed" but I can't be bothered to make the effort if they're not likely to! :rotfl:

I've got my 16 week mw appt today :-)

She should take BP, check your wee (for protein/ sugar etc), stick your booking blood results in your notes (should have contacted you if any probs), take some bloods for integrated serum testing (downs etc) and try and listen to babe's HB - but not always successful at 16 weeks (so don't be disappointed if she can't get it)

edit: oops - others have already posted - ah well, at least we all said the same!
And the only time I've been looked at is for a sweep when od and after when my stitches had gone a bit duff!

I haven;t BEEN worrying till now! Honest! Don;t have a go at me :( It's just I thought I was past it and I'm not. I'm a bit scared so I thought I'd come on for some support, not to be told off. :(

    oh skint.

it is completely understandable that you are worried. i would be too if i were you. i have never gone through what you have had to go through but i can appreciate what a milestone it must be to get past the date you have referred to.

i know you wont be able to stop worrying about the dates etc. but look after yourself. you need your strength

    ((big hugs)) :kisses3:

    xxxx
  • skinty - go by your own dates until you go to your 12 week scan - that is the best time to date the pregnancy...I wouldn't worry about what your first scan said (if they measured out by half a millimetre then that could be a weeks or more difference).

    My baby-brain is getting worse.

At the hospital on Monday I couldn't remember my own DOB. Last night at aquanatal I got my EDD wrong...You would think of all things I would be able to remember my EDD.

    Hugs to all

PS - the burger has gone - thank goodness!!

I don't see where I told you off??? I told you to relax for your own sake because you need to! Don't bite my head off for trying to be nice and giving you advice! You may be stressed and worried but you could be nice back!

Sorry but saying that really really upset me!

No-one meant to upset anyone so please consider it forgotten.

How did I miss that then

My local Sainsbury's did have half price packs of size 2 huggies the other night (I think that they worked out at 8.6p per nappy) I need to factor things down these days!!
