I've just realised that Poppy has not spent a night away from home! (I have though when I left her to go to Dublin for the weekend
).
DH and I are now more for going out for lunch while Poppy is being looked after more than in the evenings. When she was first born I wouldn't let me or DH have more than a glass of wine in case something happened and we needed to take her to hospital....and what would they think of two tipsy parents?!. And just when we were starting to feel brave enough to leave her, I get preg again!
.
My parents and both my sisters are an absolute godsend and I don't think I would be having another baby so quickly if it wasn't for their support :A.

Krystal sounds like only a few hosps do domino acording to NHS birthchoice site
A few hospitals provide Domino care. If you have this choice, antenatal care is provided by community midwives, exactly as for a homebirth. Your midwife will then visit you at home during your labour and will accompany you to the hospital where you give birth. You then come home from hospital about six hours later. Postnatal care is provided as for a homebirth. The Domino scheme provides the same continuity of care as a homebirth, but provides the opportunity for a woman to give birth in hospital, if she feels that is where she will feel most comfortable. It is only available to women who are likely to have a straightforward birth, as if complications arise during labour (such as the need for an epidural, or labour needs speeding up) the community midwives will have to pass the women over to the care of the hospital staff.0 -

i had HM soup and OH has just phoned for a burger and chips for himself its making me feel sick lol!! all ican think about is mince pies mmmmmmmm they will prob make me ill but i dont care lol!!!
My sis ex is an a***hole and thats me putting it nicely, he didnt want children and left her when he found out, fair enough we all thought and we know she will be ok with us lot to help out. but thats not the best bit he started seeing a girl within hours of leaving my sister and guess what she is pregnant! my sis is around 24 weeks???? and this girl is around 12-16 weeks? and he seems to be sticking around. the 4/5 years he was with my sis obviously dont mean as thing and he is insisting on seeing baby. if i had my way im sorry but he would get no where near. rant over lol!!
SB you sound like me esp with the alcohol i tend not to drink just incase but when i do go out i make sure that whoever is looking after themknows that no alcohol must be consumed!! i breastfed which also tied me a lot so i couldnt go out or it would be dinner and straight home. xWhat's for you won't go past you0 -
Thanks sami, I had a look through that site earlier but don't know if it's on offer at our hospital... One to ask the midwife when I see her... Which isn't until the end of Jan now!!!A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

That's pretty much what happened to me with DD apart from the bloke that knocked me up kept telling me how much he wanted children... Hmm... I was 10 weeks pg when he disappeared....
Oh and breastfeeding and alcohol... It takes approx 1 hour per unit to clear your milk so for eg, you can feed baby it's night feed, put it down... Have a glass of wine... Within an hour it is ok to feed baby again... If you feel drunk then you still have alcohol in your system so probably not best to feed.... (I once fed DD whilst drinking a glass of vodka and coke... It had become such second nature to feed I forgot...Shh....)A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... oommmmm tut tut krystal
I'm teetotal (99% of the time) so no problems for me! The only thing I drink is the very occasional little glass of pear cider, I can't even have half a pint - such a cheap date!
Chris usually stays with Grandma when we need a break or the odd birthday on OH's side (if it's on my side we usually go for a lunch or early tea so Chris can come too) OH's mum likes to go to fancy places in Manchester  mind you I don't really mind coz there's no way I'd ever go somewhere that the Man U lots go to coz I'm far too tight! £25 for a main dish? You're avin a laugh!?0 -
i fed one of them(have so many cant remember lol) one night when i had a few drinks and they werent great sleepers at the time however they slept all night!!! i had a bottle of reef the other night, it was an impulse buy and usually i wouldnt have bothered! before that was aug when we were drinkng pink champagne at a wedding!! usually i end up driving so dont bother about drinking

Morning all, quick question what kind of questions do you all ask at your booking in appointment? Is it wrong that I can't think of any?You laugh because I'm different - I laugh because you're all the same0
