OH couldn't bear to read the article about the conjoined twins the other day - he got quite upset as it had a picture of thier scan which he thought was a bit too like ours. He seems to be getting attached to the baby, which is fantastic, especially as at first he didn't want it.

Consultant today, nervous. Another £25 on taxis to get there! Costing me a fortune is this baby.

Angel - I like the name Angel for a boy, after the character in Dexter, but OH doesn't think its a good name for a boy. I thought 'Sue' would be a good name, but he doesn't like that either. I have a feeling we'll never chose a name, and I'll just have to stick anything on his birth certificate! He has to have three names, one of them a saints name, which is fun! The saints name has to have meaning, so I'm going to try very hard to have the baby on the 21st so I can call him Conrad. Only way I'll get OH to agree to that name!

Dexter was one of the names my OH suggested for a boy but I always think of the TV show press gang... anyone remember that? There was a Dexter in that... Is it odd that a really old tv show character would put me off a name and not a serial killing pathologist?

Baby has been having some real wiggles yesterday and today, I can't feel it kicking very often but I do feel it roll over... feels very wierd!
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

  • I just know my family would take the mickey if I called baby something out of the ordinary!. I was dreading their reaction to me calling DD Poppy :rotfl:. They thought I was a Charlotte/Rebecca type of girl ;). And thats the reason why I won't discuss names with them :D.

oh god, i used to love press gang (it was shown on aussie telly when i was younger).

i loved dexter fletcher (spike). he was my favourite. i think my friend liked the one that used to have the office, was it paul????

as for the wiggles and rolling, that is what i was feeling all the time before it started kicking. very active indeed. when i was at the midwife the other day and the heartbeat was strong and fast, she said that was normal for such an active baby.

Oh I loved Press Gang! He was American in it wasn't he? I last saw him in 'Hotel Babylon' :).

OH wonders if people would know we'd called him Dexter after the serial killer. We've compromised, and our current name is a less famous serial killer!
