  • My bag is still only half packed . To me its one of those final realisations that a baby is on the way - not the fact that I have had 38w to get used to the idea! :rotfl:. Poppy is at the in-laws this afternoon so its on my to do list today :D.

One of the girls here is from dublin and she says, aw you will, you will, wontcha? Aw you will!

    Makes me chuckle every time!

Going back a bit - sparkle - did you just post and run? How you doing?

r.mac - what sizes have you gone for?

Sorry I did, Didnt realise the time and had a stack of things to do including work :o before picking DS up from school!

Im feeling good thanks, except my coccyx is killing me I also fell on my bum yesterday walking round to school to get DS (because of the ice) and it feels as if I have been beaten black and blue. Got a new gym ball to sit on and had a whale of a time watching OH blow it up for me, he hadnt put the stopper in the other end and couldnt work out why it wasnt getting any bigger! I noticed just before him (honest) I almost wet myself laughing! - No really! I need to start doing my pelvic floors religiously!

Also, a bit of a silly question, its freezing outside (obviously!) Well when I go out it doesnt matter how wrapped up I am my boobs get sooo painful and feel as if they have frozen and are about to drop off! Erm why? Now this is the silly bit, is it something to do with milk and stuff? Now I know that doesnt come until baby comes but I have been a touch leaky! Oh the embarrassment! Its a good job I can write this down as I dont think I could say it out loud!

Hope your all well - going to carry on catching up now, You really know how to chat you lot, its only been 24 hours since I read this thread and you have filled a ton of pages!

Check with the hospital too - ours provides towels (there's even a heated towel rail - how luxe is that!:p ) so I don't need to worry.

Don't forget your music if you're having any.

Oh - meant to say had hypnobirthing class on Monday. There is some 'hippy' stuff but what the woman says actually makes physiological sense so fingers crossed it'll help. Watching women giving birth without even groaning is a big change from the discovery channel dramas! In fact one of them looked like she was napping!

    Hello!
Feeling alot better today although been coughing and spluttering, dont feel so achey.
Managed to get a bit of sleep last night.
Ooh got my scan on Friday! Mum says I can borrow her car to get up there, so might do that, it's so bloody cold.

I saw the manager from Astons nursery he was at until Spetember today, told her I was having a boy etc and said I'd bring him in to show her and the girls when he arrives, she told me she'd just found out she's expecting, she's 7 weeks. they had been trying for over 2 years and were due to start on some fertility drugs so she's really pleased.
    :j Baby boy Number 2, arrived 12th April 2009!:j

I'm not sure about the cold boobs, I found the only bit of me that got cold last time was my belly button as my coat didn't quite cover all my bump in the end ;)
With the leaking just make sure you always wear pads and have spares in your bag, if you don't change them often your nips can get a bit dry and sore.

On the hosp bag thing I also had a list of stuuf I use everyday that needed o be chucked in just before we left like toothbrush, hairbrush etc. oh and you''l need lip balm as the mat wards are really hot n dry

On that subject did anyone else get an email from mothercare today about a maxi cosi pram with 200 quid off when you buy the whole shabang (pram, carry cot, bag, footmuff think that was all of it) http://www.mothercare.com/dp/B0013DCGAU/ref=pd_accessories/279-0712643-3114040?%5Fencoding=UTF8&mcb=core
I've never seen it before but looks nice
