Oh my, you lot have been talking loads again, I can't keep up with you all! You'd better keep all those germs to yourselves ladies
Nothing much to report here, other than 35 weeks is extremely tiring - one and half days left at work though (And thursday morning I'm only really going in to take in lots of cake, and try and make everyone as fat as me!) so the end is in sight. Then hopefuly I get a rest for a few weeks until the hard work really starts
Last night I dreamed that my contractions had started, so when I woke up I was all confused, and couldn't work out if it was real or not. But in the dream I was with someone who was trying to get me to hop into her car and go to Sainsburys or somewhere, so I could pretend they had only just started and get freebies. And we ended up arguing, as I wanted to stay at home till I was ready to go to the hospital.
Told DH about it when I woke up, and he says baby can't come till after his work xmas do, as I'm meant to be picking up him and his friends afterwards - good to know he has his priorities straight!
Oh, and what is all this rubbish about having to get the house tidied up in preparation for Mum/MIL coming over - the trick here is in trying to get them to stop cleaning my house when they come over.... so I make sure that I leave out washing up and obvious stuff to save them doing any damage anywhere else. Whenever MIL has been over it takes me a week to find where she has tidied everything to! (I do appreciate the help, but really some things are too much... and I hate to think what she found when she tidied our bedroom when we were out :eek:Isabella Molly born 14th January 2009

Well overall a long day - went for our internal christmas lunch which was nice - then finally had my H&S assessment! Heck I only told work I was pregnant about... 2 months ago? actually might have been a bit more... and FINALLY at 4 months pregnant they came round to do it! :rotfl:
Well it was fun so let's see what comes off it (apart from the dockingstation, foot rest, new screen, keyboard and mouse which magically appeared instantly! The power of an outside H&S assessor! WHOOP!) being as I told them that even if I worked in the office every day I STILL work from home in the evenings to get things done - I'd say at least 2 hours a night so 10 a week... that kinda means I should actually have a proper chair at home anyway and a H&S assessment heehee! That should really annoy them!
And I had a reply to my mail to HR... she's off until the 10th so will reply then... thanks... take it no-one else can deal with my concerns till then? Hmm Thanks for making me feel appreciated and taken seriously when I raise some very serious concerns about the company's conduct... hohum!DFW Nerd #025DFW no more! Tbh, I didn't know what my hospital offered so I took a pack of nappies and wipes in anyway but Poppy was dressed by the MW's in a cute little gown (with the hospital name written all over it!

Had my appointment with the consultant this afternoon and she is satisfied that I'm not a candidate for pregnancy induced hypertension or pre eclampsia....even though my BP was higher than the figure she had previously stated in my notes hence all the MW visits?!
.
Anyways, no more every other day visits from the MW :T. I'm only to be seen weekly from now on.......
and I only have two weeks to go!:rotfl:

Hi ladies!
I had my first midwife booking-in appointment today. OMG so much information - how will I remember it all?
I have been put under consultant care throughout pregnancy and she booked my 12 week scan then and there for the 16th December with a consultant appointment at the same time. Also been referred to Antenatal Physio, which I will probably start after Xmas (Physiotherapist is currently off long-term sick  !)
Got my Bounty pack, Emmas Diary and pregnancy book as well as loads of leaflets etc to read. Hubby treated me to dinner after - it was scrummy! I am now filling in all the forms for my freebie packs!

in my hospital you have to take in everything for yourself and i can remember midwife saying do you have any bigger sleepsuits as this one doesnt fit lol! luckily i has footless ones and had to put him in bigger clothes once we were at home. this time around i have only got 0-3 months clothes so no doubt she will be tiny and nothing will fit lol! What's for you won't go past you0 -
