  • My Auntie had two 7lb'ers! Natural birth, eek. Thats scary. And the lady in the waiting room yesterday didn't know she was having twins till 10 days before she gave birth - one of them had been hiding on all the scans!

No way twins. Didn't the midwife feel anything like 4 legs!!! everyone in work keeps teasing me cause i'm so big. i hope they are wrong.

Had a different mw on monday and the pain in my hands that i have be complaining about for 2 months is carpal tunnel syndrome. the other has been looking at me like i'm making it up. feel better now i know what it is

Loving the future jobs conversation, maybe shouldn't tell all you nervous about labour types this BUT When I had the epidural put in as I was having Millie I said she was going to grow up to be an anaesthetist!

Oh and we have no idea on names whatsover even though we know whether its pink or blue it isn't making life any easier, had the same trouble with Millie we hadn't decided and she was 2 weeks late!

well the short list names have been Sera, Hope, Eden, but still no ecision and i dont know if i will call her any of them lol!!! as for jobs they can do whatever makes them happy! i think abi(3) is going t be the next Lewis Hamilton as she loves fast cars and racing with her dad lol!

managed to get out and get some shopping, picked up trampoline for DS2 xmas(from argos sale:D) and just as well as the snow has started again! bumped into friends who have a 1 year old and have offered me all of her baby clothes so need to pop in and pick it all up one day. all in all its been not too bad a day. think i better go and put the dinner on.

no i agree dont say that about twins as my mum went to see someone and she said i was having twins... oh no way lol got my hands full enough!!!

I'm getting this weird thing where I'm really hungry, but as soon as I've eaten, my stomach starts churning and I feel nauseated.

I get this too :( Always feel worse first thing in the morning when I'm ravenous and then again in the afternoons once I've eaten lunch.

Nothing much to report from me today. Keep waking up with a stuffy nose and sore throat but it's better by half nine once I'm at work and have had a couple of cuppas! That said, I think I'm going off tea.. I sit there looking at it on my desk and just don't fancy it. Need to take some squash (to make up with hot water) into work tomorrow otherwise I'll be on cold drinks all day :(

Many thanks for your kind words re: OH's grandad. He's not come home from work yet tonight so I assume he's gone to his Mum's to check she's okay. No news on a funeral but there might have to be a p-m as the police were called (with it happening in public) so that might delay things.

Also had to contest with bounced DDs yesterday (the weekend got on the way of me transferring money to cover them from one account to another, doh!) and then found out today OH has been summons to court as a witness for a theft from our work site - theft was in April 08 and the case finally goes to court in Feb 09!

Little Pickle - I know how you feel about your scan. I'm scared about mine on Monday too. I'm not thinking about it yet until I'm there. xx

DH just came back from work with a pile of nappies from a vending machine lol... Oh and a packet of condoms... Also from a vending machine... He said it's for after baby arrives so he doesn't need to get anymore nappies lol...

On the whole, what you get in hospital... I got nothing... As others have said my sister was rooting around getting nappies and babygros out of the bag while they did her apgars...
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...

I taking my own just in case I think... I know there are nappies available but I don't know how reliant that is on donations  so to be sure I'll take a few in with me and DH can bring more if needed!
