I think its silly how these days were are constantly made to believe that babies are big, too many people going on about 12lb'ers, most bubs that have been born while I've been in ere have been around 7lb which is a good average weight x

    And that's why I love sami-Bee :D

  • My Auntie had two 7lb'ers! Natural birth, eek. Thats scary. And the lady in the waiting room yesterday didn't know she was having twins till 10 days before she gave birth - one of them had been hiding on all the scans!

    aww thanks r.mac!!!
I also know of 2 babies born full term close to chris that were 5lb something, they looked slightly worryingly small at first, like they would break but then I thought that of chris at first anyway  a normal weight is generally considered to be 5lb - 9lbs (and both of those little girls caught up to other bubs by 12mths)

You lot make me laugh, I have know idea wot I want chris to be, I always say happy and loved (theres me being a hippy again!) hubby is convinced he's going to be gay. why you might ask? because he has a pink play pram and likes to carry a handbag :rotfl: he isn't in the slightest bit camp though so I think he'll be straight (not that I'm bothered! I just think life is easier when you are somewhere around "the norm" even tho it shouldn't be that way!)

I am not well today :( I have a bit of a temperature and feel my throat is coming up, and I have also noticed I have some kind of eczema on my eyelid! I've never had eczema and don;t know what to do about it. It looks ugly :(

On a plus note, I had a call about a job this morning and they are putting my CV forward. It's contract until March which would be pretty much perfect really, although it's not massive money.

Anyone got any experience of eczema?
It might just be a rash or a bit of dermititis.
I suffer with eczema, especially on my hands, it's got worse since being pregnant.
My son also suffers from it on his legs, but it's the type that you grow out of.

Well DH told me if I googled it, loads of pawn stuff would come up... But it doesn't, it's mostly churches and colleges... I really like it, and think it would be really cute to shorten it to Manny... He said we could call a boy Manny but not Emmanuel... I've got 6 months to work on him... But then he's wanted to call a boy Connor since before we even started planning a baby... I think it's a nice enough name but couldn't see my son having it...

Try Emmanuelle - feminine version ;) Whole series of French soft prawn erotic films

No, I never used to be allergc to anything.
Never had eczema as a child although my sis was riddled with it.
Now I cant wear perfume on my skin, am sensitive to metals, like belts, watches etc
Cant wear lipstick, latex gloves, & rubber gloves irritate me.
I cant even go for an OP in a nrmal theatre now apprently because of the latex thing, when I had a mole removed from my face I had to go into a latex free Op theatre, shouldnt coplain though coz it means I go to the front of the queue :D
