SB dont worry think im going to buy a pack a week and build it up! really want all presents bought and out the way before baby things though?
I am a SAHM and have had a few jobs but due to childcare being so expensive and me not really being happy with other people bringing up my children i do it myself. if it was family looking after them i probably would work but i dont have family that could do it as they work or are too ill to help out. i am planning on doing a home study or night classes at easter/summer and then when kids are bigger would like to get into midwifery or health visitor but who knows lol!
ok i need to let off some steam, i am a terrible mother. trying to get kids ready for pantomine and DD1 started to kick off about a pair of jeans i had ironed, if she doesnt like it she wont wear it type thing. i dont have much washing done due to the water being turned off all the time for new bathroom?? so i let it go and she just would not stop screaming and shouting and i smacked her, am feeling so guilty now and its really playing on my mind, dont know who was more shocked? anyway i sent her to panto out of guilt after telling her she couldnt go and now im siting here thinking what did i do?
kids eh???What's for you won't go past you0 -

you lot have been busy! Elle I'm so sorry for your loss hugs to you, ever since my dear dear "Grandy" died about 5yrs ago I can't hear/read the words has died without a tear coming to my eye! oh god their crying on I'm a celeb now - here I go
doesn't help that I've just had a big row with hubby either
"our" house was hubby's anyway I have never paid any of the bills and have no idea how much any of them are except the mortgage (£440 pm), we agreed that I would buy/do all the shopping, cooking and most cleaning. I had a car loan that took about 1/2 my wages which hubby helped with when my SMP stopped covering it and then we paid it off with my redundancy payment. My salary was £14,700 pa and When chris was 9mths-ish I looked for jobs, got offered 3 but all of them couldn't offer me enough money, there aren't any pt jobs at the level I worked and all the lower ones (which I would happily do I'm not too proud) don't pay enough. If I'd taken any of the jobs I was offered after paying childcare and petrol it would cost me about £50 a month to go to work!! now I love working and have never cared much about being a career woman but I do really miss being "sami" and not "Mummy" I had a pt job for a bit earlier this year but it was for a friend so she managed to get the boss to agree to pay me what they were paying an agency (so i got the agency's commission) but even so I was only earning about £20 a week but I loved being a grown up again. Hubby is far from rich he earns about £25k and our house is far from glamorous in fact I hate our house! but I'd rather have a rubbish house and no holidays (I didn't have holidays as a child and really don't understand why people like them so much) and have happy children than a stressful job and my bubs in childcare all the time. Well I think I've ranted enough so will shut up now!0 -
Caz - it's clearly not you usual parenting style, don't beat yourself up about it. Sounds like you had a lot on your plate.
I bought my first pack of nappies today :T :T :T only a 40 pack of size 2 huggies (from 7lb) but it is a start...not sure I am going to have any need to size 1please listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120 -
Caz, you're not a terrible mother, we've all been driven to that point... Tantrums are not fun!A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

You'd be surprised
Chris was 6 12 born and was 7lb after a couple of weeks but didn't go up to size 2 for about a month after.
I bought my first today too!! well I say bought, they were free - the huggies newborn starter pack from asda, nappies wipes and a pair of socks cuuuuuuttteee!
Caz don't worry, all parents get stressed at some point and do something they wouldn't normally. I'm not against smacking perse anyway. but I'm sure when she comes home it'll all be forgotten and she''l be saying "he's behind yoooouuu":T0 -

Poppy was 8lb 11.5oz and she was in size 1 for quite a while. I remember the day I looked at the size range on the pack and had a tiny little panic!. She was well over the weight but they still fitted fine .
