Don't be upset - you are dealing with a load of baby brains here!! No-one is intentionally overlookd but if you read through we often lose track or go off on a tangent!

Welcome, come on in and make yourself at home...

My baby brain is worse than ever today - I had to google to remember what type of flour went into yorkshire puds

Mel - is it your scan tomorrow??

Edit - ignore me - good luck for your scan tomorrow Mel - are you finding out what flavour it is?

thank You redmel1621 and feelinggood I`ll take note of the whizzing from now on.. Good luck with your scan tomorrow and I agree with feelinggood about dancing tried dancing the samba to SCD last night and I jiggle too much..

One question I did ask was if anyone had a sleep pillow like dream gennii as my bed is on its last legs and i having trouble getting comfy.

    B
I don't think i've seen one of these. I tend to just use normal pillows as I get bigger and tuck them under bump and in between legs. To be honest hough if you are having trouble sleeping due to being uncomfortable, anything is worth a try.

Hi Brookeslay and welcome - how many weeks are you and is it your first?

I was looking at the triangular pillows and wedges in mothercare the other day - to support my belly - can anyone recommend either?

Last night, i borrowed my little girls pink sausage shaped, bean filled pillow and lay on my side with it under my tummy, and had the best sleep ever!! It was only a cheap thing from Poundstretcher last year.

I was thinking i'd need the triangular one anyway for when baby is here for feeding.

  • My friend gave me a double sided bump pillow after she gave birth a month ago - it's like a strip of fabric with a semi-circular pillow either side. I tried it once when hubby was away and it was the worst nights sleep yet...not sure if that was because hubby was away or because of the pillow - I woke up every time I turned over to reposition myself!

I'm just using my v pillow for on the sofa and plan to use it for feeding etc once bubba is here. I don't see how it would work in bed ????

I would love a dreamgenie, but am not uncomfortable enough to justify the price just yet!

I'm not sleeping that well at the moment, really achy. Can't see a pillow helping - I'm one of those who moves about all night. Perhaps that'll change when I get bigger!

Anyone have any experience of being very overweight and pregnant? I've got such a big tummy anyway, I'm struggling to imagine what I'll look like with a bump. Will I still get a bump?

  • Hi Brookeslay and welcome to the thread!

Lots of good luck for tomorrow, Redmel! Wonder what your lemon bump will turn out to be? I have my 4D scan on Wed and I can't wait!

FG, I'm overwight :o and yes I have got a preg tum! It just took a little longer to show. If you have a high BMI and BP like me you might be consultant led and have alot more appointments and scans than usual.
