thankfully looks like OH cousin will be dropping one off tom morning so fingers crossed! no she wont be replacing it as she is also pregnant and her OH has left her as she got implant out and fell without his knowledge:O:O:O so at the moment she has no money. Am not happy with her as she now knows and she was meant to be getting my pram, cradle and extra bits i have picked up but out of temper i have told her she is getting nothing. prob just me and hormones at the moment but am really angry that she has left it until last min knowing we have very little money.
TBH we shouldnt be going away as OH is builder and work has been awful, things been stressful and i saw the week away on ebay and got it for £20!:D:D so have bought that, sold things on ebay for petrol, bought tesco day out vouchers and then i cant see it costing that much more feeding us than it does here! also have a little spending money but we have worked our buts off this week to get away and just feel like i am being kicked when im already down????
sorry for the rant girls!!! well am off to empty washing machine and head for bed, no doubt kids will be up with the birds all excited about their holiday! keep well, take care and labour vibes for those in need xxxWhat's for you won't go past you0 -
cazscoob - hope you enjoy your holiday and manage to de-stress and relax a bit. You can be creative with the food you eat while you're there, have you looked at the OS board for some ideas?
Has anyone else had twinges early in pregnancy? I really can't remember whether I had any with DS, but every so often I feel what's like a really light pain. It doesn't last long and then goes away. I work in an ante natal clinic, and also on the ward where ladies go if they have a m/c and I think it's making me paranoid. I asked the doctor if there was any greater risk due to my having been on Depo, and she said it would be normal as if you've never been on it. I know that it can happen to anyone, I think I just need a bit of reassurance!Sealed Pot Challenge #817 £50 banked0 -
Pinkpig, I think we've all had twinges in the first few weeks, You're body is starting to relax and your womb to stretch... Try not to fret about it unless you have bleeding too...
And have a great time away Caz, for £20 I would of got a week away too!A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Congratulations to all the new people on the list and new babies!
Don't panic about twinges - I'm still getting them now (29 weeks today - woohoo!) as everything stretches. I ended up getting (what I thought were) period pains at about 5 weeks and thinking "ah well, it's not worked again, lets have some wine!". Then did tests a week later when nothing happened - oops!
My SPD has flared up big time this weekend - I went to a wedding on Saturday, but I was very careful not to overdo it - I found somewhere to sit and everyone had to come talk to me! So I'm not sure if that is the reason or not. I think the baby has finally (just about) turned itsself head downwards, so I don't know if it's putting pressure in different places? I've called in unable to walk today anyway, and will be heading back to bed shortly! But if it is still like this tomorrow I'm just going to have to deal with it - no way I'm starting my maternity leave just yet, and I can't very well call in sick from now until December. (Well... I will get doctor to sign me off if it comes to it, but I hope that won't be necessary!)
Any tips on nursery furniture? Cheapest I've found is tesco direct (other than possibly finding things on ebay/freecycle, but I'm having no luck with that so far). I got a bit hormonal about the whole thing yesterday, as we're meant to be doing the kitchen up too, and we still have to buy nursery furniture and a buggy (plus Christmas presents, and a few other bits and bobs for baby!). We're going to end up with a credit card bill we can't afford to pay if we're not very careful!Isabella Molly born 14th January 2009

How many weeks will you be when you have your 4D scan? I've got another 2D one to determine the sex at 16 weeks, and my NHS one at 20 weeks. Planning on having a 4D one at 28 weeks.
I have never been 'told off'! :rotfl:. I know I have to lose some weight but I got preg again before I had the chance.
I'll be exactly 32w which is the latest they 4D scan. I have felt a bit guilty this preg as with Poppy I had all the time in the world to flick through magazines and make lots of plans but the time has run away with me!. I had visions my son thinking I favoured Poppy because she had a scan and not him!. I also have a NHS 34w growth scan on 4 Nov.

MrsTine - Which JL did you see the iCandy in and what was the price? I am thinking of getting this one too after getting a demonstration in an independant baby shop. The price I got was £449.00 for everything except car seat but I was going to check JL to see if I could get a better price.0

The Milton Keynes JL - the "base" unit was £349. I can't recall what the other bits came to... if you can find it cheaper though they do have their "Never knowingly undersold"DFW Nerd #025DFW no more! Officially debt free 2017 - now joining the MFW's!
