Oh, all this talk of pushchairs... I'm going to miss out on it....

My Mum bought me a 2 in 1 when I was having DD, the frame was good, big wheels and a big shopping basket... But the carrycot / chair is all garrish blues oranges and reds... I was never keen but didn't get to see it before she bought it...

Then she very kindly put it into storage for me when DD grew out of it...

Is it wrong of me to hope for mould?
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Could you just buy one and say DH's parents bought it for you? Or that you bought it and forgot she had got it - and well she may aswell keep it at her house now for if she babysits?

Couldn't possibly get away with forgetting about it... She keeps bringing it up in conversation lol... And also, the MSE in me won't let me spend hundreds of pounds on something we already have... Argh... lol

  • Aww Tine that's a bummer

Krystal - are you a sewing fan? Do you think you could recover it?

iM Just hovering, Im a TTC. But just wanted to say about the breast pumps. All areas should have access to a breastfeeding support group (bosom buddies, Breast friends etc.) There you can usually have access to a breast pump if they have one. Or they may be able to track one down from another group. You can go to some of the groups when in latter stage of PG too!

Dont feel guilty about expressing, as long as you wait the 1 month or so to wait till babe is established on boob, (so he dont refuse the boob after having expressed bottles) its great. Anything you can do to make it easier for you is great and you dont have to feel bad.
    *horrible midwife*

Hope you have a great PG ladies, hope to join you soon!

Sorry for not responding, I had to stop reading at cream cheese - for some reason, that just makes me rather 'off' at the moment!!

Congrats and welcome to the thread :)

On a random note, I've decided that clubbing is not good for pregnant women! What was I thinking! I've never been clubbing but took up this invitation to cental london! Oh my feet. I shall be sitting down for the remainded of my pregnancy.

DH felt baby move last night and this morning he was pleased as I have been feeling movement since about 15wks. In fact the baby has been very active today which is unusual as he is usually a lazy bum in the mornings and starts to play later in the day.

Scan tomorrow, oh my god I am so nervous about it. I am trying not to think about it to be honest but when I do I am trying to stay positive...It is at 10am so will go straight to the hospital from dropping off the boys at school.

Brookeslay - hello and welcome to the board, don't worry sometimes posts get whizzed over as people are flicking through reading, or they don't get time to reply. A lot of times you may only get a reply if you have asked a direct question too...keep posting and letting us know how you are doing.

Pinkpig08 - welcome to you to and congratulations on the pregnancy, you have found out very early too.

Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,
Nothing is going to get better. It's not.

just a quick post as exhausted after having my mother and sisters to stay this weekend. You wouldn't know I was the pg one!!!! Currently curled on sofa and don't plan to move until bedtime tonight :D

I was in Dunelm mill last week and got a brilliant v-shaped pillow for only £5.99 (full price) - have seen them for sooooo much more than that everywhere else. and a pillow case for £2.99 - I just bought one and going to use it as a template to make another myself :D
