grout is evil! why does the excess never come off as easily as when a professional does it?! I'm sure they have magic grout that only they can buy!
another reason I worry about getting help is I really hope that I can become a foster parent or maybe even adopt some children (in at least 5 yrs time) and worry that I wouldn't be allowed to if they knew I had problems like this - I'm sure none of you know about that but it plays on my mind as its been a dream of mine since I was about 10!
God help any kids that end up in my care though I am known for being a little "unconventional" I love to be silly with kids - dance, sing, jump around pretending to be tigger - what ever makes them laugh! :rotfl:

sami i will send my 4 down lol!!! you can jump about as much as you like and they will join in! good on you for fostering! i know a few families that do it and they get some fantastic kids but its so hard to hand them back! i think they would look on it as a positive that you went for help rather than didnt??

grout is so evil poor kids were chucked in and out of bath tonight as the bath hasnt been siliconed in either and i was worried about water leaking into the kitchen lol! well if anyone is bored your more than welcome to give us a hand pmsl:P
better go help him now? hope you all get a good sleep and these bumps dont kick too much xxx

I said in 5yrs time  not sure i could cope with another 4 at once;) maybe for just one day.
We don't have the space at the mo and decided that we wanted our bubs to be settled in school before taking on more. I've always wanted about 4 kids but i know I don't want to be pregnant again after I have this one. I did mostly enjoy my pg last time and I'm sure this one too (MS has got much better lately) but I want to be a bit selfish and hopefully get my "hot bod" back :rotfl:
i have that slight angelina thing of not wanting to bring more children into the world when there's so many already here who need a loving home - ha ha I sound like a right hippy now!

Sami - I have very much the same fears as you about fostering, I have always wanted 4 children of my own and to foster 2 children as well. The thing is, dh has OCD and a while back we went through a really bad patch (before he finally sought help) and we had police called and social services and all sorts by our 'lovely' interfering neighbours!!!

Now I am really scared that I won't be able to foster because of the involvement of these people (although they always went away happy that we were a solid, loving family unit) and because dh has mental health problems.....

not sure how that works but you would think that mental health problems are quite the 'norm'? and as long as they are picked up on and treated etc then i cannot see a problem. i think its more violence and drug abuse that doesnt get a second look! oh sami are you sure i cant temp you with 4?? could send no 5 through post when she arrives too lol! they all sleep and eat! whats a hot bod?? not had one of those in a looooooonnngggggg time:D

    morning all

Just a quick question. For those with children already - have any of you followed (however loosely) the Gina Ford Contented Baby routines? I know this could start quite a debate but I have just read her book and it got me thinking (always dangerous!)......

Also - as this is mse (!) I'm looking for some costs advice and recommendations:

    1. I need to stock up on baby and mum toiletry essentials. Am I better to go for Boots for choice and advantage points or do you find the supermarket cheaper?

    2. I am NOT buying or wearing those hideous paper/disposable pants. SO going to buy some really cheap cotton pants - any good recommendations on fit/place to buy? I keep hearing about primark, but haven't got one in Eidnburgh yet.

right - you may now resume idle chitchat about christmas decorations, cars and comedians. Oh and I like Michael McIntyre too :D

r.mac there is definitely a Primark in Glasgow if you are going over there in the near future (Know as went there just over a year ago :rotfl: infact it was my MIL who introduced me to Primark and that exact shop to be exact!)
Personally I don't see any problems with Asda and Tesco knickers ;)
