Mel: does it say anything in yur contract about being expected to wear the uniform supplied? I'm not sure wot you do but I assume its customer facing? is your boss a nice friendly person who would let you flout the rules if you nicely explained the uniform was incredibly un-comfy?

ETA: I saw some white trousers in the m&p and next online sales - maybe you could dye them to match:confused:

Oooh will dig out contract and have a check....My manager is nice but I suppose it is if any of the area managers etc come in, she may worry about getting grief off of them.

I supose you could have a go at the dying option or just hope area doesn't come in - you could always say something like they got stained/ripped and pretend its a one off day in your own pants? - good luck I couldn't stand being uncomfy once I've got a bump!

I'm currently being driven mad by eczema I don't get if often but my skin gets much more sensitive when pg and I looked at my steriod cream leaflet and it said speak to GP before using when pg  so I can't wait for 2mo when I can find out!

If you can't park cars - buy a Passat CC... They do parking sensors (amazingly handy - never thought I'd say that), parking assist for parallel parking and there is even an option for having parking sensors with little camaras! I kid ye not!
Ours has parking assist (it was an ex-demo so it was already on there - wouldn't have added it as an option personally...) and if you turn it on and you cruise past a space that's big enough then you do the pedal work but it will do the steering... pretty nifty! Must try it some day lol!
Seriously tho - I am pretty good at parking - comes from a mis-spent youth thinking the best sport was doing 4x4 trials in old landrovers... you have about 2 inches spare on any side at any time.... you learn to judge distances pretty quickly doing that lol!
The Passat is a little tougher as you can't see the front of it OR the back of it like you can in a Mini... but DH feels happier with me driving it as apparently it's un-nerving when I park at 30 mph and he looks all white and stutters "that was close!" and I tell him nonsense! I have 3 inches spare at the back or where ever and when he checks it's spot on 3 inches! ;)
You'd think being an ex rallydriver co-pilot he'd be used to it ;) :rotfl:

Oh oh oh nearly forgot whole reason for coming on here... wanted to say for maternity clothes... H&M! I just bought some lovely trousers for work (which I intend to wear this week even though not got much of a bump! they're just sooo comfy!) and a black lacy dress thing - both maternity wear and the trousers were £30 and the dress a snip at £20! Generally they have loads of nice stuff but they were a bit low on my size as it turns out lol - but definitely worth a look! Better than M&S in my view lol

mel if they are that bad tell them that you have taken a reaction to something on them and have developed exema or skin condition lol! i would wear your own trousers as you will be wearing the top so its not like your trying to get out of wearing the whole uniform?

thats another lot of grouting dne so about half way there now! hoping to have all the tiles done tonight and grouted as its driving me up the wall!!! tree still isnt up as i got talked into doing other things:O but think it might go up tom when older 2 are at pantomine and i will have a chance to spend some time with abi(3) and let her have some fun!

And its so tiring being up, showered and dressed every day (even Sunday!!!) before 8:30am waiting for the knock on the door :rotfl:.

    xx

I hated that about the daily visits after Isla was born. Im sure they wouldnt have been the slighest bit bothered if I had been washed and dressed or not but I still wanted to so was ready for 9am every day waiting on them. Waiting on someone coming when you dont know what time they will be there is very annoying!

What buggy have you got. Only I bought a new Smart car the week before I found out I was pregnant and now i'm in a panic because i'm not sure i'm going to find a buggy to fit in the boot. Then theres the possibility of expecting twins (first scan next week, so we'll see!), which will mean that sadly the car will have to go. I have always had smart cars because anything bigger would show up my terrible parking skills. If I can get a buggy small enough to fit the boot then me and little bump will be lovely and cosy chugging along in my Smart!!

    use a sling:confused:

i would be terrified in a Smart car with a baby tbh:eek:

We have no car... and neither of us can drive either... Shocking in this day and age isn't it!

And there is no way I will be putting my decorations up within the next 2 weeks either! My family is lucky I'm allowing decorations, I didn't bother for about 4 years, only put them up now for DD... We're getting a real tree but need to sort out the big pile of crap that has become my living room... Feel like we should be on Life of grime next to Mr Trebus or something!

Our church is taking part in operation christmas child and I have spent the afternoon preparing 4 shoe boxes, and very proud of myself I am too!

Oh... and DD spent last night with Nanny... she came back eating pick and mix at 10am and hasn't stopped whingeing and crying at the drop of a hat since and hasn't done a thing she's told... Gah, grandparents!
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.
