thats not fair though i have 4 lots of kids presents to do!!!!! tell you what ill post half them to you and you can send them back when they are done:rotfl: that way you will have to sit down and take it easy to keep that BP down lol:rotfl: dont have much left to get DD1(8) mama mia, cd player, girls aloud cd and a big present not sure if i should get a bike or horse riding lessons?

bought Ironman fo DS1 so was thinking i might put it on tonight when im wrapping and ill get to watch it in peace hehehe is that naughty:rolleyes: will go and have a look on that site once i get this lot in bed!

DH at least is clear on where he wants to be when Bean arrives: "he'll be holding my hand or anything I want but he'll be NORTH! He's not venturing south AT ALL! Yup... DH realised I was teetering on the edge today so the plans for the weekend is to clean the house - something i can't face but gets me down. If I want to help I can but he'll do it on his own because "he can see I'm so up and down at the moment and my energy is all drained with growing bean and being so sick and he doesn't want me to worry...".
As for banned things... I had 2 SMALL glasses of white wine at a wedding this weekend... I could see him thinking about measuring each of them and making notes! He knows A drink once in a while is not the end of the world but you should have seen his face! And if I ask him to buy me diet coke he'll usually (and unlike him!) forget to buy it... hmmmmm

And I'm not allowed to lift anything, strain myself or do anything that might
upset bean... bless him

Oh my, you lot have been jabbering a lot today

DH has phases of being really over protective and helpful, and of being completely rubbish - and no matter how helpful he is being, I still can't get him to put the loo seat down just before he comes to bed... which makes night-time-in-the-dark loo trips even the more exciting. It's like playing roulette!

Evening all,

I've switched to decaf tea - more just to try the taste of it than anything. I'm pleasantly surprised.. Yorkshire Decaf tastes no different to normal Yorkshire tea However, I feel like I've not been properly awake for the last few days! Didn't realised how much the caffine kept me alert at work! I had to have a Crunchie (caz's fault!) to wake me up.

I've been late night shopping I've been buying one present / for one person a night online, but I needed lots of little bits to add so I blitzed through town with my Mum. Got to do more sorting and rewrite my lists ready for more shopping at the weekend now!

Hope she won't mind me saying but MFD has been away for a few days with work No doubt back posting tomorrow.

You sound super organised with your xmas shopping - Wish I was I have barely started. What I Have done has been done online and spent yesterday afternoon in Town - mostly in next! Apart from a trip to toys r us one night next week for all DS's stuff and collecting his bike from halfords. I think the rest will be done online too! Oh well I thinkplaying the pregnancy card comes in handy this time of year

Nice to know MFD is ok was worrying about her... she is normally online everyday at least once a day! :silenced:

ehhhhh nothing to do with me:rolleyes: how good are they though! im so addicted doesnt help that my shop are doing 3 4 £1. i really should be ironing or wrapping but have sat on comp:o while OH is working away! sounds like your getting on well with the shopping! not sure what im wanting for myself though and everyone keeps asking? xx

hi ladies,

just sat in bed watching i'm a celebrity and having a teary one (well that started in the bath).

i know i have my moments where i struggle to admit i'm having a baby and joke about still not accepting it, but to be honest, since my MW appointment today it has really hit me that i am going to have a baby and it scares the absolute life out of me. i just feel so stupid

I've actually decided what I want for xmas tonight (diary/organiser). Well, had decided in about September but I found THE one that I want tonight so I'm just about to order it online (WHSmith with 20% off code!), on behalf of OH

Not stupid at all, AF *hugs* I'm sure everyone has their :eek: moments, even on their third or fourth.. Can you talk to OH about it? Not suggesting you have it, but apparently there is such a thing as pre-natal depression as well as post-natal so there should be some info on it about. Maybe a book to read. And we're always here for you, don't forget!

Unless he's a fainter I'll bet you a fiver he has a look, My hubby kept saying there was no way he would want to see it but its that side of you that makes you look at car crashes - you just can't help it:o
anf for any of your OH's that are unsure; hubby was worried about cutting the cord - he wasn't sure if we should just let the MW do it but when they asked at the time he said yes:T he said it was a bit of a weird feeling but made him really feel useful and a part of it all (and :shhh: started his tears :silenced:) he's such a softy:smileyhea
