Now I love my OH dearly but he can be quite insensitive at times.

First he banned coke zero from the house (i love that stuff) because the news said too much caffeine is bad so it had to go.

Then I wondered why my folic acid tablets were going down so quickly until I found him taking them. He told me it stops his stomach gurgling and if they are good for me and baby, they must be good for him. I didnt see any harm in it but he's now stopped because he saw the words 'for women' on the box and I think he secretly thinks he'll change sex if he takes them!

When I had my head over the toilet bowl last week - a voice from the sofa (OH) piped up 'be strong dear, be strong' . Now if he says that when i'm giving birth, he'll need to go to A & E!

Then last night took the biscuit. We got a new bed a few months back (hence the pregnancy -hee hee!), and its bigger than our old one with a long shelf thing on the foot end which sticks out. There is a small (but not that small) gap between the end of the bed and my wardrobe. As I passed between wardrobe and bed last night, he looked at me and then ran into the kitchen. He returned with a screw driver and started to removed the shelf thing. When I asked what he was doing - he said there isnt much room for your bump to get through. Er i'm only 12 weeks and I dont have a bump (well maybe a little bloating). I told him I was insulted and then he said he was actually scared that the sharp edge of the shelf might stick into my stomach when I ran to the loo in the night and hurt the baby. I've got to love him really.


Anyways, have any of your OH's developed an insensitive yet kinda sweet side since your found out and said/done anything like this.

12 weeks tomorrow - 4 days till my scan. Yippee yay!

mrst how right youare all the ladies and bumps on here are fab wether its a moan or just a chat you know there will always be someone to point you in the right direction or just make you smile:D hope things looks up AM!and thats right we arent even real

not been on much today and had loads to catch up on! just nipped into town and bumped into a friend who had 20% off vouchers for most of the shops!! so thats a few more presents in the boot and the wraping paper so ill catch up soon SB lol!

Oh, I am so furious! :mad: One of my friend's has just called baby 'he' on my Facebook and isn't it typical that my sister is online too and has seen it! :eek::eek::eek:. What are the chances of that . My friend edited 5 mins later but the cat is definately out the bag! :rolleyes:

I don't know if you go on the HotDeals site but its lethal to the purse!! I keep ordering things at bargain prices for Poppy but she has way too much already! But I just can't resist a bargain.....:D:rolleyes:.
