No tummy trouble, tho have managed 2 no. 2's in as many days - not been able to do that for awhile
may have more to do with all the green veg I've been eating for iron
was also sick this morning I thought it was going but hey ho at least it seams to be only once every 2-3 days now
have you had asparagus in he 24hrs before your sample? as it causes you to have ketones in urine (thats what makes it smell different)
Make sure you take a couple of photocopies of MAT B1 before you hand it over as OH's work may want a copy and they're always getting lost by HR depts:rolleyes:
definitely no asparagus in the last 24 hourshaven't had that for years come to think of it.
good tip re MAT B1 form. not sure if hubby will need it as i dont know if he will be taking time off work (or will be able to) when bubs arrives (dont ask  )
just have to see if i can get my work to agree one week's leave before is start my maternity leave, which will effectively mean one week before i am due0 -

Oh AF I hope ur OH can have some time off it really helps if they can be there, My hubby only had 1wk paternity leave then went back for a week (my sis came to stay that week to help me) then took a weeks holiday, I was soo scared on my first day alone but soon got used to it.
I hope your job will be less stressful if your working that late, my mat leave started a month before I was due0 -
I've got no idea what is happening with OH's paternity leave. Technically, he isn't entitled to any (contractor) but he might be out of a job, or might take some unpaid time off. I'm just assuming he won't have any time off, and if he does, it'll be a plus! We can't even decide where to live at the moment, so can't make any other descisons.
I'm off to pick up crutches shortly, its silly that I'm so excited! I'm hoping I'll be able to sleep better if I'm not in so much pain at the end of the day.Stay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.0 -

I hope hubby has some time off, for his own sake really, rather than mine. He works nights and too many hours at that. Problem his as much as it annoys him, his boss is a nice bloke and seems to get away with it (and hubby is not one for saying no).
My job is office based and as it is now some of my colleagues dont let me lift anything. I can't say it will be less stressful, but i would rather be at work than sitting at home waiting. Of course, if my pregnancy doesn't run as smoothly has it has to date, then of course i would reassess as i would do what's best for bubs.0 -
Hello All,
Not posted on here for months, but rest assured I have been reading the posts nearly every day, I can never think of anything exciting to write! I am now 39 weeks and I can't believe I am so near the top of the list.
Every part of me is swollen, feel like one big water balloon! Had a MW appointment today and all is well, the baby's head is engaging is moving down. So I feel like I am just playing a waiting game now despite me eating a whole pineapple yesterday, and going for walks (well very short 10 minute walks as I feel I am going to die and the baby may just fall out!) no sign of labour at all!
My hubby has booked me in for a massage tonight, so looking forward to that, apparently one woman was in labour within two hours of having the massage! I live in hope!
Hope all is well with everyone, and Mrs Tine sorry to say that my sickness didn't stop til week 21 but it did start to improve about week 16ish!

to be honest I don't think I was showing last ime until around 20 wks and I've got flabby baby belly from last time covering it this time so who knows when it'll show! I'm just feeling a bit impatient today:cool:0 -
Thank poppyjoe... that makes me feel soooo much better
*sigh* oh well it'll stop when it stops... it's just soooo tiring
Had another mare of a day at work - had to be in for a meeting early and I'm paying for it now! My nausea never got a chance to settle so I feel exhausted and sick now and it's nearly time for my late afternoon nausea to set in so this is just such a fun day! ARGH!
Think I might call in sick tomorrow - sod 'em!DFW Nerd #025DFW no more! Officially debt free 2017 - now joining the MFW's!
